أطلق الجيش السوداني والقوات المشتركة والمجموعات الأخرى المتحالفة معه، عملياته على أكثر من جبهة في ولايات إقليم كردفان، وبحسب مصادر عسكرية سودانية فإن الجيش بدأ يتقدم نحو مدينة «بارا» شمال كردفان على محورين.
وأوضحت المصادر أن الجيش يهدف من عملياته إلى السيطرة على أكبر نقاط تجمع قوات الدعم السريع في ولاية شمال كردفان، بعد أن تجمعت كل قواته في منطقة «بارا» خصوصاً المنسحبة من جنوب أم درمان عقب استكمال تطهير العاصمة الخرطوم.
وأشارت المصادر إلى أن الجيش بدأ يتحرك نحو مدينة «النهود» في ولاية الغرب، ويقاتل لفك حصار مدينة الدلنج المستمر منذ عامين من خلال التحام قوات متحرك الصياد مع قوات اللواء 54 للجيش داخل المدينة.
وأشاد قائد قيادة الفرقة العاشرة مشاة في مدينة أبو جبيهة في جنوب كردفان اللواء عبدالعزيز إبراهيم بتصميم الجيش وجاهزيته لمواصلة تحرير واستعادة جميع المناطق التي سبق أن فقد السيطرة عليها.
وأعلنت لجنة الاستنفار والمقاومة الشعبية بولاية جنوب كردفان تنظيم قوافل الدعم والإسناد للقوات المسلحة والمستنفرين، موضحة أنها سيرت قافلة إلى القوات المرابطة بمحافظة الريف الشرقي – منطقة دميك العسكرية، في أعقاب المعارك العنيفة التي شهدتها المنطقة.
وأكد قائد منطقة برنو العسكرية العقيد الركن عبدالكريم علي أن «المعركة لا تزال مستمرة»، مؤكداً أن المنطقة أصبحت آمنة ومستقرة بعد مطاردة قوات الدعم السريع وملاحقتهم حتى آخر معاقلهم.
وكان الجيش السوداني قد أعلن الأسبوع الماضي اكتمال سيطرته على الخرطوم، مؤكداً بشكل رسمي خلوها تماماً من قوات الدعم السريع.
ولا يزال الجيش السوداني يواصل تقدمه على مختلف الجبهات في عدد من الولايات التي لا تزال قوات الدعم السريع تشكل فيها تهديداً لحياة المدنيين.
The Sudanese army, along with joint forces and other allied groups, has launched operations on multiple fronts in the states of the Kordofan region. According to Sudanese military sources, the army has begun to advance towards the city of "Bara" in North Kordofan on two axes.
The sources indicated that the army aims to seize control of the largest gathering points of the Rapid Support Forces in North Kordofan, after all its forces gathered in the "Bara" area, especially those that withdrew from the south of Omdurman following the completion of the cleansing of the capital, Khartoum.
The sources noted that the army has started moving towards the city of "Al-Nuhud" in the west, fighting to break the siege of the city of Dalang, which has been ongoing for two years, through the engagement of the Hunter Mobile Forces with the 54th Brigade of the army inside the city.
The commander of the 10th Infantry Division in the city of Abu Jubeiha in South Kordofan, Major General Abdelaziz Ibrahim, praised the army's determination and readiness to continue liberating and reclaiming all areas that it previously lost control over.
The Popular Resistance and Mobilization Committee in South Kordofan announced the organization of support and reinforcement convoys for the armed forces and the mobilized, stating that it has sent a convoy to the forces stationed in the Eastern Rural Governorate – the Damik military area, following the fierce battles that took place in the region.
The commander of the Birnu military area, Colonel Abdelkarim Ali, confirmed that "the battle is still ongoing," asserting that the area has become safe and stable after pursuing the Rapid Support Forces and chasing them to their last strongholds.
Last week, the Sudanese army announced the completion of its control over Khartoum, officially confirming that it is completely free of the Rapid Support Forces.
The Sudanese army continues to advance on various fronts in several states where the Rapid Support Forces still pose a threat to the lives of civilians.
