قلّد رئيس جمهورية أذربيجان إلهام علييف، الدكتور سالم بن محمد المالك، المدير العام لمنظمة العالم الإسلامي للتربية والعلوم والثقافة (إيسيسكو)، وسام الصداقة ( Dostlug Order)، تقديرًا لدوره البارز في بناء وتعزيز علاقات التعاون الوثيقة بين جمهورية أذربيجان والإيسيسكو في مختلف المجالات التربوية والعلمية والثقافية.
وأشاد الرئيس خلال مراسم التقليد التي جرت في مدينة شوشا بأذربيجان، بما أحرزته هذه الشراكة من إنجازات ومبادرات نوعية، مثمنًا جهود الدكتور المالك في دفع مسيرة العمل المشترك إلى آفاق أرحب.
من جانبه، عبّر الدكتور المالك عن خالص شكره وامتنانه للرئيس إلهام علييف على هذا التكريم الرفيع، معتبرًا أن هذا الوسام هو تكريمٌ للإيسيسكو بكاملها ولجميع منسوبيها الذين يعملون بإخلاص من أجل خدمة الدول الأعضاء، وتعزيز مجالات الثقافة والعلوم والتربية والابتكار.
ويأتي هذا الوسام في سياق التقدير الدولي المتنامي لمكانة الإيسيسكو ورؤيتها الجديدة، التي جعلت منها منظمةً رائدة في استشراف المستقبل وبناء جسور التعاون بين العالم الإسلامي والعالم أجمع، من خلال مبادرات نوعية تُعنى بالابتكار، والتحول الرقمي، وحماية التراث، وإعداد الأجيال للمستقبل.
The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, awarded Dr. Salem bin Mohammed Al-Malik, the Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), the Order of Friendship (Dostlug Order), in recognition of his prominent role in building and enhancing close cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and ISESCO in various educational, scientific, and cultural fields.
During the awarding ceremony held in the city of Shusha, Azerbaijan, the president praised the achievements and quality initiatives that this partnership has accomplished, appreciating Dr. Al-Malik's efforts in advancing the joint work to broader horizons.
For his part, Dr. Al-Malik expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to President Ilham Aliyev for this high honor, considering that this award is a recognition of ISESCO as a whole and all its members who work diligently to serve the member states and enhance the fields of culture, science, education, and innovation.
This award comes in the context of the growing international recognition of ISESCO's status and its new vision, which has made it a leading organization in anticipating the future and building bridges of cooperation between the Islamic world and the entire world, through quality initiatives focused on innovation, digital transformation, heritage protection, and preparing generations for the future.
