يكتمل غدا «الأحد» طلاب وطالبات التعليم العام بالمملكة بعودة أكثر من مليونين من طلاب وطالبات إدارات التعليم في مكة والمدينة ومحافظتي جدة والطائف إلى مقاعد الدراسة لبدء العام الدراسي الجديد، بعد أن تأجلت عودتهم أسبوعاً عن 11 إدارة تعليمية بالمملكة بسبب التقويم الدراسي الجديد الذي أصدرته وزارة التعليم اخيراً.
و يتمتع طلاب الإدارات الأربع بإجازة أسبوع قبل الإجازة الرسمية لطلاب بقية المناطق في موسم الحج، و سيبدأون الإجازة بنهاية دوام يوم الثامن والعشرين من ذي القعدة للعام الحالي، فيما يتأخرون في بداية الإجازة الصيفية للعام القادم أسبوعاً واحداً إذ تبدأ إجازتهم بنهاية دوام يوم السابع عشر من شهر محرم للعام 1448هـ.
من جانب آخر حددت الوزارة حالات الغياب والاستئذان بعذر مقبول خلال العام الدراسي الجديد مع التأكيد على إحضار ما يثبت ذلك، وبينت في قواعد السلوك والمواظبة لطلاب وطالبات التعليم العام أن الحالات هي: الإجازة المرضية (تقرير إجازة مرضية من منصة صحتي)، ومراجعة المستشفيات والمراكز الصحية (تقرير إجازة مرضية من منصة صحتي)، وحدوث الكوارث مثل حدوث الحريق وغيره (مشهد من الدفاع المدني)، ووفاة أحد الأقارب إلى الدرجة الثالثة (شهادة الوفاة)، ومرافقة صحية لأحد الأقارب من الدرجة الأولى (إشعار مرافقة)، ومرافقة صحية لأحد الأقارب إلى الدرجة الثالثة، ولإدارة المدرسة الصلاحية بتقدير العذر وقبوله أو رفضه (إشعار مرافقة)، ومراجعة الجهات الرسمية (إشعار مرافقة)، ومرافقة الأقارب من الدرجة الأولى للجهات الرسمية (إشعار مرافقة)، والمشاركات في المسابقات المحلية والدولية (مشهد مشاركة)، وظروف صحية أخرى تقوم إدارة المدرسة بتقييم حالات الطلبة ذوي الظروف الصحية والنفسية والأمراض المزمنة ودراسة إمكانية قبول أعذارهم عند تغيبهم عن المدرسة (تقرير طبي)، وما تقرره الأنظمة واللوائح فيما يتعلق بحماية الطفل.
Tomorrow, "Sunday," students of general education in the Kingdom will complete their return, with more than two million students from the education departments in Mecca, Medina, and the governorates of Jeddah and Taif returning to their classrooms to start the new academic year, after their return was postponed for a week from the original date due to the new academic calendar issued by the Ministry of Education recently.
The students from the four departments will enjoy a week off before the official holiday for students in other regions during the Hajj season, and they will begin their holiday at the end of the workday on the 28th of Dhul-Qi'dah of the current year, while their summer vacation for the next year will be delayed by one week, starting at the end of the workday on the 17th of Muharram in the year 1448 AH.
On another note, the ministry has specified the cases of absence and permission with a valid excuse during the new academic year, emphasizing the need to provide proof of such excuses. It clarified in the code of conduct and attendance rules for students of general education that the cases include: medical leave (a medical leave report from the "Sehaty" platform), visits to hospitals and health centers (a medical leave report from the "Sehaty" platform), occurrences of disasters such as fires (a report from the civil defense), the death of a relative up to the third degree (death certificate), health accompaniment for a first-degree relative (accompaniment notice), health accompaniment for a third-degree relative, and the school administration has the authority to assess and accept or reject the excuse (accompaniment notice), visits to official authorities (accompaniment notice), accompanying first-degree relatives to official authorities (accompaniment notice), participation in local and international competitions (participation report), and other health circumstances where the school administration evaluates the cases of students with health, psychological conditions, and chronic illnesses and studies the possibility of accepting their excuses when they are absent from school (medical report), as well as what is determined by the regulations and laws regarding child protection.
