أغلقت أمانة محافظة جدة شاطئ اللؤلؤ الواقع في أبحر الشمالية لمدة أسبوعين، بدءاً من اليوم؛ لتنفيذ أعمال تطوير شاملة تهدف إلى رفع مستوى الخدمات وتعزيز سلامة مرتاديه.
ويأتي هذا الإجراء ضمن جهود الأمانة المستمرة لتطوير المرافق الشاطئية وتهيئة شواطئ السباحة في المدينة، لضمان توفير بيئة آمنة ومريحة للأهالي والزوار. وخصّصت الأمانة شواطئ متعددة للسباحة، معززة بالتجهيزات اللازمة، تشمل المظلات والكراسي، إضافة إلى تزويدها بمنقذين مؤهلين ومعتمدين من الاتحاد السعودي للإنقاذ والسلامة المائية.
ويُعد شاطئ اللؤلؤ من أهم الشواطئ التي حظيت باهتمام الأمانة، وطُّور سابقاً بإنشاء مواقف للسيارات وتوفير كراسي إنقاذ وقوارب متخصصة، إلى جانب تعيين فريق من المراقبين والمنقذين الذين يحضرون بشكل دائم من شروق الشمس حتى غروبها؛ لضمان سلامة الجميع.
The Jeddah Municipality has closed Pearl Beach, located in North Obhur, for two weeks starting today, to carry out comprehensive development works aimed at enhancing the level of services and improving the safety of its visitors.
This action is part of the municipality's ongoing efforts to develop beach facilities and prepare swimming beaches in the city, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents and visitors. The municipality has designated multiple beaches for swimming, equipped with the necessary amenities, including umbrellas and chairs, in addition to providing qualified and certified lifeguards from the Saudi Union for Rescue and Water Safety.
Pearl Beach is considered one of the most important beaches that has received the municipality's attention, having previously been developed with the establishment of parking lots and the provision of rescue chairs and specialized boats, along with appointing a team of monitors and lifeguards who are present continuously from sunrise to sunset to ensure everyone's safety.
