ألقت دوريات الأفواج الأمنية بمنطقة عسير القبض على مقيمين من الجنسية السودانية بمحافظة الفرشة، لتورطهما في ترويج 16 كيلوجرامًا من نبات القات المخدر. وتم إيقافهما واتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية بحقهما، قبل إحالتهما إلى جهة الاختصاص.
ودعت الجهات الأمنية المواطنين والمقيمين إلى الإبلاغ عن أي أنشطة تتعلق بتهريب أو ترويج المواد المخدرة، عبر الاتصال بالرقم 911 في مناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والمنطقة الشرقية، أو 999 في بقية المناطق، أو من خلال رقم بلاغات المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات 995، أو البريد الإلكتروني: 995@gdnc.gov.sa، مؤكدة أن جميع البلاغات تعامل بسرية تامة.
The security patrols in the Asir region arrested two Sudanese nationals in the Al-Farsha governorate for their involvement in the trafficking of 16 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat. They were detained, and legal procedures were taken against them before being referred to the relevant authorities.
The security agencies called on citizens and residents to report any activities related to the smuggling or trafficking of narcotic substances by contacting the number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 in other areas, or through the General Directorate for Drug Control's reporting number 995, or via email: 995@gdnc.gov.sa, emphasizing that all reports will be handled with complete confidentiality.
