نفّذت المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني، اليوم، تجربة ميدانية لاختبار جاهزية المنصة الوطنية للإنذار المبكر عبر خدمة البثّ الخلوي، وذلك في جميع مناطق المملكة عند الساعة الواحدة ظهرًا، في خطوة تعكس جاهزية المنظومة التقنية الوطنية لمواجهة الحالات الطارئة.
وشهدت التجربة بثّ رسائل تحذيرية تجريبية وصلت إلى هواتف المواطنين والمقيمين باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية، توضّح أنها اختبار لنظام التنبيهات الوطنية ولا تتطلب اتخاذ أي إجراء، ضمن خطة لقياس سرعة وصول التنبيهات ودقتها في مختلف مناطق المملكة.
وتُعد المنصة الوطنية للإنذار المبكر نظامًا وطنيًا متكاملًا صُمم لإرسال تنبيهات وتحذيرات فورية إلى السكان في حال وجود مخاطر أو حالات طارئة مثل الأمطار الغزيرة والسيول، العواصف الترابية، الزلازل والهزات الأرضية، الحرائق والانفجارات، أو أي طارئ يستدعي التحذير السريع، وذلك عبر تقنية البثّ الخلوي (Cell Broadcast) التي تتيح إرسال الرسائل مباشرة إلى الهواتف المحمولة دون الحاجة إلى تطبيقات أو اتصال بالإنترنت.
ويُعزز نجاح التجربة جاهزية البنية التحتية الرقمية في المملكة، خصوصًا أن نسبة انتشار الهواتف الذكية تتجاوز 97% من إجمالي السكان، بعدد يفوق 33 مليون جهاز ذكي بحسب أحدث تقارير هيئة الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات، ما يجعل المنصة قادرة على الوصول إلى أكبر شريحة من المجتمع في وقتٍ قياسي.
وأكد الدفاع المدني أن التجربة تهدف إلى رفع كفاءة أنظمة الإنذار والتواصل الفوري، وتعزيز الجاهزية الوطنية في التعامل مع الحالات الطارئة، بما يضمن سلامة المجتمع واستدامة الخدمات الأساسية.
وتأتي التجربة ضمن جهود المديرية لتحقيق مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 في بناء منظومة متكاملة للسلامة العامة تعتمد على التحول الرقمي والذكاء التقني لضمان سرعة الاستجابة وحماية الأرواح والممتلكات في مختلف الظروف.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense conducted today a field experiment to test the readiness of the national early warning platform via cellular broadcasting service, in all regions of the Kingdom at one o'clock in the afternoon. This step reflects the readiness of the national technical system to address emergency situations.
The experiment witnessed the transmission of trial warning messages that reached the phones of citizens and residents in both Arabic and English, indicating that it is a test of the national alert system and does not require any action, as part of a plan to measure the speed and accuracy of alerts in various regions of the Kingdom.
The national early warning platform is a comprehensive national system designed to send immediate alerts and warnings to residents in the event of risks or emergencies such as heavy rains and floods, dust storms, earthquakes and tremors, fires and explosions, or any emergency that requires swift warning, through cellular broadcast technology that allows messages to be sent directly to mobile phones without the need for applications or internet connection.
The success of the experiment enhances the readiness of the digital infrastructure in the Kingdom, especially since the penetration rate of smartphones exceeds 97% of the total population, with more than 33 million smart devices according to the latest reports from the Communications and Information Technology Commission, making the platform capable of reaching the largest segment of society in a record time.
The Civil Defense confirmed that the experiment aims to enhance the efficiency of alert systems and immediate communication, and to strengthen national readiness in dealing with emergencies, ensuring the safety of the community and the sustainability of essential services.
This experiment comes as part of the Directorate's efforts to achieve the targets of Saudi Vision 2030 in building an integrated public safety system that relies on digital transformation and technical intelligence to ensure rapid response and protect lives and property under various conditions.
