كشف المركز الوطني للأرصاد تعرّض عدد من المناطق لحالات مطرية متعاقبة خلال نوفمبر الجاري، مشيراً إلى أن شدّتها ستزداد تدريجياً.
وأكد المتحدث باسم المركز حسين القحطاني، أن المملكة تمر حالياً بمرحلة انتقالية تشهد عادةً تأثر مناطق عدة بفرص هطول أمطار متفاوتة ما بين متوسطة إلى غزيرة، يرافقها تذبذب في درجات الحرارة استعداداً للدخول التدريجي إلى فصل الشتاء.
وبين، أن المناطق المتأثرة تشمل المرتفعات الجبلية الممتدة من الطائف حتى جازان، إضافة إلى أجزاء من المدينة المنورة والمناطق الشمالية، مؤكداً أن السمة السائدة في هذه الفترة هي الانخفاض التدريجي في درجات الحرارة والأجواء المعتدلة على معظم مناطق المملكة.
وأشار القحطاني إلى أن معدلات الهطول المطرية لهذا العام تُعد أقل مقارنة بالسنوات الماضية، التي شهدت أمطاراً غزيرة متتالية، خصوصاً على مرتفعات جازان وعسير، موضحاً أن نوفمبر يُعد من الأشهر الممطرة بطبيعتها على عدد من المناطق، لاسيما المرتفعات الجبلية وأجزاء من المدينة المنورة والمناطق الجنوبية لمنطقة الرياض.
ودعا القحطاني، إلى الالتزام بتعليمات الجهات المختصة والاستمتاع بالأجواء الجميلة مع أخذ الاحتياطات اللازمة، لاسيما مرتادي الطرق الطويلة، محذراً من التهاون في متابعة التحذيرات والتنبيهات الجوية، خصوصاً في ظل التغيرات المناخية الحالية وبداية انخفاض درجات الحرارة.
The National Center of Meteorology revealed that several regions are experiencing consecutive rainfall events during the current November, indicating that their intensity will gradually increase.
The spokesperson for the center, Hussein Al-Qahtani, confirmed that the Kingdom is currently undergoing a transitional phase that typically affects several areas with varying chances of rainfall ranging from moderate to heavy, accompanied by fluctuations in temperatures in preparation for the gradual onset of winter.
He noted that the affected areas include the mountainous heights extending from Taif to Jazan, in addition to parts of Medina and the northern regions, emphasizing that the prevailing characteristic during this period is the gradual decrease in temperatures and moderate weather across most regions of the Kingdom.
Al-Qahtani pointed out that this year's rainfall rates are lower compared to previous years, which witnessed consecutive heavy rains, especially in the heights of Jazan and Asir, explaining that November is naturally one of the rainy months for several areas, particularly the mountainous heights and parts of Medina and the southern regions of Riyadh.
Al-Qahtani urged adherence to the instructions of the relevant authorities and to enjoy the beautiful weather while taking the necessary precautions, especially for those traveling on long roads, warning against being complacent in following weather warnings and alerts, particularly in light of current climate changes and the beginning of temperature drops.
