نفذ مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية، مبادرة «نور السعودية» في جمهورية مالي، التي تهدف إلى مكافحة العمى والأمراض المسبّبة له، وذلك في العاصمة باماكو.
تأتي هذه المبادرة ضمن البرامج الإنسانية والطبية التي يقدّمها المركز في مختلف دول العالم، والتي تعكس دور المملكة العربية السعودية الرائد في الإغاثة والعمل الإنساني، واستمرار عطائها في خدمة الإنسان دون تمييز.
وشملت الحملة إجراء عدد كبير من الفحوصات الطبية الدقيقة، وإجراء عمليات جراحية لإزالة الماء الأبيض (الساد)، إضافة إلى توزيع النظارات الطبية والأدوية المجانية على المستفيدين.
وتقدّم المبادرة إلى مرضى محتاجين مصابين في أعينهم، يعانون من صعوبة رؤية الأشياء على طبيعتها، فأثّرت على جودة حياتهم. ويمثل المشروع تدخلاً نوعياً يعيد الأمل لآلاف المرضى، ويعكس إنسانية المملكة، كما يؤكد دعم المبادرات الإنسانية التي تهدف إلى تخفيف معاناة المرضى، وذلك بإشراف نخبة من الكوادر الطبية المتخصصة السعودية وباستخدام تقنيات حديثة لضمان جودة الخدمة وسلامة المرضى.
وأعرب عدد من المستفيدين عن امتنانهم العميق للمملكة العربية السعودية، ممثلة بمركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة، لما لمسوه من عناية طبية واهتمام إنساني خفف عنهم معاناتهم وأعاد إليهم الأمل والنور.
تأتي مبادرة «نور السعودية» امتداداً لعدد من الحملات الطبية المشابهة التي نفذها مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة في العديد من الدول، والتي تهدف إلى رفع مستوى الخدمات الصحية ومساعدة المحتاجين على استعادة بصرهم وتحسين جودة حياتهم.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center implemented the "Light of Saudi Arabia" initiative in the Republic of Mali, aimed at combating blindness and the diseases that cause it, in the capital city of Bamako.
This initiative is part of the humanitarian and medical programs offered by the center in various countries around the world, reflecting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's leading role in relief and humanitarian work, and its ongoing commitment to serving humanity without discrimination.
The campaign included conducting a large number of precise medical examinations, performing surgeries to remove cataracts, in addition to distributing eyeglasses and free medications to beneficiaries.
The initiative provides assistance to needy patients suffering from eye conditions that hinder their ability to see things as they are, affecting their quality of life. The project represents a qualitative intervention that restores hope to thousands of patients and reflects the humanity of the Kingdom, while affirming support for humanitarian initiatives aimed at alleviating the suffering of patients, under the supervision of a select group of specialized Saudi medical personnel and using modern techniques to ensure the quality of service and the safety of patients.
Several beneficiaries expressed their deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, for the medical care and humanitarian attention they received, which alleviated their suffering and restored hope and light to their lives.
The "Light of Saudi Arabia" initiative is an extension of several similar medical campaigns carried out by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in many countries, aimed at raising the level of health services and helping those in need to regain their sight and improve their quality of life.
