سجّلت أعداد الأطباء السعوديين المبتعثين والخريجين في التخصصات الصحية والطبية في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا ارتفاعات قياسية، إذ بلغ الإجمالي التراكمي للأعوام 2020 - 2025 في كلتا الدولتين 8,036 طبيباً ومبتعثاً؛ منها 6,052 في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية و1,984 في كندا، مما يعكس الدعم غير المحدود من القيادة الرشيدة، وبرنامج خادم الحرمين الشريفين للابتعاث الخارجي، وتفانيها في تطوير الخدمات الطبية والاستثمار في رأس المال البشري.
وسجّلت أعداد الخريجين في كندا نمواً قياسياً بنسبة تقارب 256% بوصول عدد المتوقع تخرجهم في عام 2025 إلى 606، مقارنة بـ170 خريجاً في عام 2020، في حين سجّلت أعداد الخريجين المتوقعين في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية لعام 2025 ارتفاعاً ليصل إلى 1,847، بنسبة زيادة بلغت نحو 62.02% مقارنة بـ1,140 خريجاً في عام 2020.

The number of Saudi doctors who are scholarship recipients and graduates in health and medical specialties in the United States and Canada has reached record highs, with a cumulative total for the years 2020 - 2025 in both countries amounting to 8,036 doctors and scholarship recipients; of which 6,052 are in the United States and 1,984 in Canada. This reflects the unlimited support from the wise leadership, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program for studying abroad, and its dedication to developing medical services and investing in human capital.
The number of graduates in Canada has recorded a remarkable growth of nearly 256%, with the expected number of graduates in 2025 reaching 606, compared to 170 graduates in 2020. Meanwhile, the expected number of graduates in the United States for 2025 has increased to 1,847, representing an increase of about 62.02% compared to 1,140 graduates in 2020.
Dr. Tahani Abdulaziz Al-Biz, the Saudi cultural attaché in the United States and Canada and supervisor of South American countries, attributed these figures to the continued support of the wise leadership, its investment in health human capital, and the expansion of academic partnerships with global universities, which provides the health sector with qualified national competencies and supports the achievement of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing the health system.
