التقى وزير الصحة فهد بن عبدالرحمن الجلاجل، وزير الصحة والعلاج والتعليم الطبي في الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية الدكتور محمد رضا ظفرقندي، حيث ناقش الطرفان تعزيز التعاون وتوسيع الاستثمارات في المجالات الصحية والطبية والدوائية بما يعزز العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، وذلك خلال حضور الوزير الإيراني فعاليات ملتقى الصحة العالمي بنسخته الثامنة في الرياض.
وبحث الجانبان أيضًا آفاق التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي عبر تبادل الكفاءات العلمية من أساتذة وطلاب، وتنسيق المؤتمرات والندوات المشتركة، مؤكدين أهمية تبادل الخبرات بما يعزز التواصل بين المراكز الطبية ويسهم في تطوير المعرفة والابتكار الصحي بين البلدين.
ويأتي ذلك تجسيدًا لحرص الجانبين على توطيد العلاقات الصحية والعلمية، وفتح مسارات جديدة للتعاون في مجالات الدواء والبحث والابتكار، بما يدعم التنمية الصحية المستدامة ويعزز التكامل الإقليمي في القطاع الصحي.
Health Minister Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel met with the Minister of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi, where the two sides discussed enhancing cooperation and expanding investments in health, medical, and pharmaceutical fields to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. This took place during the Iranian minister's attendance at the eighth edition of the Global Health Forum in Riyadh.
The two sides also explored prospects for academic and research cooperation through the exchange of scientific competencies among professors and students, and the coordination of joint conferences and seminars, emphasizing the importance of exchanging experiences to enhance communication between medical centers and contribute to the development of knowledge and health innovation between the two countries.
This reflects both sides' commitment to strengthening health and scientific relations and opening new avenues for cooperation in the fields of pharmaceuticals, research, and innovation, supporting sustainable health development and enhancing regional integration in the health sector.
