يرعى وزير الداخلية الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز غدًا، حفل افتتاح بطولة العالم لرياضة الإطفاء والإنقاذ التي تستضيفها المملكة العربية السعودية خلال الفترة من 26 أكتوبر-1 نوفمبر 2025، وتنظمها وزارة الداخلية ممثلة بالمديرية العامة للدفاع المدني، بالشراكة مع الاتحاد الدولي لرياضة الإطفاء والإنقاذ، وذلك بمدينة الأمير فيصل بن فهد الرياضية في مدينة الرياض.
كما يشهد سمو وزير الداخلية خلال الحفل الاحتفاء بمناسبة مرور 100 عام على تأسيس الدفاع المدني (1346هـ - 1447هـ)، وذلك بالتزامن مع تنظيم البطولة.
ويشارك في البطولة 22 دولة عضوًا في الاتحاد الدولي لرياضة الإطفاء والإنقاذ، وأكثر من 300 متسابق من الرجال والسيدات يتنافسون في (4) مسابقات دولية؛ تتمثّل في سباق قفز الحواجز فردي 100م، وسباق التتابعي 400 م، وتسلق البرج بالسلالم، وسباق المكافحة.
وأجريت اليوم مراسم قرعة البطولة بين (13) فريقًا مشاركًا في البطولة، استعدادًا لانطلاق المسابقات التي تجري على فترتين صباحية ومسائية، وتستمر إلى 31 أكتوبر بتتويج الفائزين، كما تم تجهيز جميع المعدات والمشبهات الخاصة بمسابقات البطولة في أرضية ملعب المدينة الرياضية، استعدادًا لبدء تدريبات الفرق المشاركة.
كما أنهت لجنتا الحكام والرقابة على المنشطات استعداداتهما لبدء مسابقات البطولة، من خلال تنظيم ورش عمل مكثفة بالتنسيق مع اللجنة المنظمة للبطولة.
The Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, will sponsor the opening ceremony of the World Firefighting and Rescue Championship tomorrow, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from October 26 to November 1, 2025. The event is organized by the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Civil Defense, in partnership with the International Federation of Firefighting and Rescue Sports, at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City in Riyadh.
During the ceremony, His Highness the Minister of Interior will also celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Civil Defense (1346 AH - 1447 AH), coinciding with the organization of the championship.
The championship will feature participation from 22 member countries of the International Federation of Firefighting and Rescue Sports, with more than 300 male and female competitors competing in (4) international events: the 100m individual obstacle race, the 400m relay race, the tower climbing with ladders, and the firefighting race.
Today, the draw for the championship was held among (13) participating teams in preparation for the competitions, which will take place in two sessions, morning and evening, continuing until October 31 with the crowning of the winners. All equipment and simulators for the championship events have been prepared on the field of the sports city, in readiness for the start of training for the participating teams.
The referees and anti-doping committees have also completed their preparations for the start of the championship competitions by organizing intensive workshops in coordination with the organizing committee of the championship.
