أعلنت شرطة منطقة الرياض القبض على وافد متورط في الاعتداء على قائد مركبة ومرافقه في أحد أحياء العاصمة، بعد مباشرة الجهات الأمنية الحادثة فور الإبلاغ عنها.
وأوضحت الشرطة في بيان إلحاقي، أنه جرى إيقاف الجاني واتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية بحقه تمهيداً لإحالته إلى النيابة العامة.
ودعت الجهات الأمنية المواطنين والمقيمين والزوار إلى الإبلاغ عن أي حالات أمنية أو طارئة عبر الرقمين (911) في مناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية، و(999) في بقية مناطق المملكة، مع ضمان سرية البلاغات وعدم تحمل المبلّغ أي مسؤولية.
The Riyadh Police announced the arrest of a foreigner involved in the assault on a vehicle driver and his companion in one of the neighborhoods of the capital, after the security authorities responded to the incident immediately upon being notified.
The police clarified in a follow-up statement that the perpetrator has been detained and legal procedures have been taken against him in preparation for referring him to the Public Prosecution.
The security authorities urged citizens, residents, and visitors to report any security or emergency cases via the numbers (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions, ensuring the confidentiality of reports and that the reporter bears no responsibility.
