مفتي عام المملكة ينوّه بدعم القيادة لجهاز الإفتاء ويُثني على جهود الشيخ عبد العزيز آل الشيخ

The Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, and the General President of Scientific Research and Ifta, Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Fawzan bin Abdullah Al-Fawzan, praised the support and assistance that the Ifta apparatus in the Kingdom receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

He said: "The Council of Senior Scholars and the Permanent Committee for Ifta undertake a great task in enlightening people about their religious matters, in compliance with the saying of Allah, the Exalted: (So ask the people of knowledge if you do not know)."

Sheikh Al-Fawzan commended the efforts of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Sheikh during his tenure as the Grand Mufti and Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars until Allah took him in guidance and righteousness, asking Allah to forgive him, have mercy on him, and elevate his status in the Gardens of Paradise.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Fahd bin Saad Al-Majed, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trustworthy Crown Prince, on the occasion of the royal decree appointing him as the Secretary-General of the Permanent Committee for Ifta, and as the General Supervisor of the Office of the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, and as the General Supervisor of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the General Presidency for Scientific Research and Ifta.

He affirmed that the General Presidency for Scientific Research and Ifta will utilize all its resources to ensure that the Council of Senior Scholars and the Permanent Committee for Ifta fulfill their religious roles and responsibilities with competence and capability.
