رحّبت رابطة العالم الإسلامي، بتوقيع حكومتَي باكستان وأفغانستان الشقيقتَين على اتفاق الوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار.
وفي بيانٍ للأمانة العامة، نوَّه الأمين العام رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الشيخ الدكتور محمد عبدالكريم العيسى، بهذه الخطوة الإيجابية من حكومتَي البلدين، والتوافُق على إنشاء آليات لترسيخِ السلام والاستقرارِ الدائمين بينهما عبر المفاوضات، بما يجنّب البلدين وشعبيهما مخاطر النزاعات المسلحة ومآسيها، مؤكداً دعم الرابطة الكامل لهذا المسارِ الإيجابي.
The Muslim World League welcomed the signing of the immediate ceasefire agreement by the sister governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
In a statement from the General Secretariat, the Secretary-General and Chairman of the Council of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, praised this positive step taken by the governments of both countries and the agreement to establish mechanisms to solidify lasting peace and stability between them through negotiations, thereby sparing both countries and their peoples the dangers and tragedies of armed conflicts. He affirmed the League's full support for this positive path.
