حقق مركز الإحالات الطبية التابع لوزارة الصحة إنجازات نوعية خلال العام الجاري، أبرزها تنفيذ أكثر من 435 ألف إحالة طبية داخل المملكة وخارجها، وإتمام أكثر من 5 آلاف عملية إخلاء طبي بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة، إضافة إلى 30 ألف حالة إنقاذ حياة تُنفّذ سنوياً ضمن منظومة استجابة متكاملة تربط جميع القطاعات الصحية على مستوى المملكة.
تأسس المركز بقرار وزاري عام 2017 ليكون الركيزة الرئيسية للتكامل الطبي في المملكة، عبر تنسيق الخدمات العلاجية بين المرافق الصحية وإدارة أوامر العلاج داخلياً وخارجياً. ومنذ إنشائه، أصبح المركز أحد المفاصل التنظيمية الحيوية التي تجمع بين المتابعة الميدانية وصنع القرار الصحي المؤسسي.
يتولى المركز متابعة تنفيذ أوامر العلاج داخل المملكة وخارجها، وإدارة أداء الاختصاصات الطبية ومواءمة الأهلية للعلاج، إضافة إلى مراقبة الطاقات الاستيعابية السريرية، وحوكمة طلبات الإخلاء الطبي الجوي بما يضمن الكفاءة وسرعة الاستجابة.
أحدث المركز نقلة نوعية في سهولة الوصول إلى الخدمات العلاجية، من خلال الإشراف المباشر على الإحالات الطبية ومتابعتها لحظة بلحظة، وتحسين جودة الرعاية المقدمة للمستفيدين، وتعزيز التكامل بين المرافق الصحية في مختلف المناطق. كما أسهم في دعم متخذي القرار من خلال منظومة رقمية دقيقة تُبرز أولويات الإخلاء والاستقبال.
يمضي مركز الإحالات الطبية نحو توسيع دوره في منظومة وزارة الصحة، ليكون نموذجاً وطنياً في حوكمة الخدمات العلاجية والتكامل الطبي، ترجمةً لأهداف رؤية المملكة 2030 التي تضع الإنسان محور الاهتمام، وتعمل على رفع كفاءة النظام الصحي، وتكريس مبدأ العدالة في الوصول إلى الخدمة والرعاية.
The Medical Referrals Center affiliated with the Ministry of Health has achieved significant milestones during the current year, most notably executing more than 435,000 medical referrals both within the Kingdom and abroad, completing over 5,000 medical evacuations in coordination with the relevant authorities, in addition to 30,000 life-saving cases carried out annually as part of a comprehensive response system that connects all health sectors across the Kingdom.
The center was established by ministerial decree in 2017 to be the main pillar of medical integration in the Kingdom, by coordinating treatment services between health facilities and managing treatment orders both domestically and internationally. Since its inception, the center has become one of the vital organizational hubs that combines field monitoring and institutional health decision-making.
The center is responsible for monitoring the implementation of treatment orders inside and outside the Kingdom, managing the performance of medical specialties and aligning eligibility for treatment, in addition to monitoring clinical capacity and governing air medical evacuation requests to ensure efficiency and rapid response.
The center has brought about a qualitative shift in the ease of access to treatment services, through direct supervision of medical referrals and real-time follow-up, improving the quality of care provided to beneficiaries, and enhancing integration among health facilities in various regions. It has also contributed to supporting decision-makers through an accurate digital system that highlights evacuation and reception priorities.
The Medical Referrals Center is moving towards expanding its role within the Ministry of Health's system, aiming to be a national model in the governance of treatment services and medical integration, in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which places the individual at the center of attention, works to enhance the efficiency of the health system, and establishes the principle of equity in access to services and care.
