الرياض تنظم «الأسبوع السعودي الدولي للحِرف اليدوية» 2025

The Heritage Authority is organizing the third edition of the Saudi International Week for Handicrafts (Banan) from November 13 to 26 in Riyadh, with extensive international participation from more than 40 countries, in addition to over 20 partners and more than 400 local artisans.
The Saudi International Week for Handicrafts (Banan), held under the patronage of the Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Heritage Authority, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, aims to highlight Saudi and international handicrafts in conjunction with the Year of Handicrafts 2025, as well as to support and empower local artisans in various fields of crafts, providing an international platform that showcases the creativity of local and global artisans, enabling them to invest their unique craft skills and support their presence in the markets.
The People's Republic of China is the guest of honor for this edition, with a qualitative participation showcasing a selection of its distinctive craft experiences and handmade creations, contributing to enhancing cultural exchange and opening new horizons for cooperation between the two countries, enriching the international exhibition scene.
The Minister of Culture revealed Syria's participation in this year's edition. "Banan 2025" offers its visitors craft and traditional experiences, including interactive experiences, dedicated pavilions for local and international craft products, specialized workshops, a small artisan area for children, in addition to a special pavilion to activate the "Year of Handicrafts 2025" initiative, and platforms aimed at entrepreneurs, institutions, and craft associations, along with highlighting the Artisan House initiative launched by the Heritage Authority to support and empower artisans across various regions of the Kingdom.
