اتفاقية تعاون لتمكين المرأة الريفية في التنمية الزراعية

In order to enhance and empower women in rural and agricultural development, and to support their participation in achieving sustainable development in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, the Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program "Riyaf" signed a cooperation agreement with the National Observatory for Women. This agreement focuses on exchanging support and technical and knowledge expertise between the two parties, unifying efforts in organizing events, research, and joint studies, as well as implementing training and development programs that contribute to building the capacities of rural women in agricultural and environmental sectors.
The agreement includes cooperation in enabling rural women to benefit from developmental initiatives and providing a supportive environment for their economic and social participation, which contributes to improving the standard of living and enhancing sustainable development in rural areas.
Under the agreement, both parties agreed to form a joint working team to activate areas of cooperation and follow up on the implementation of the agreement's provisions, in addition to appointing liaison officers to coordinate efforts and ensure the achievement of the set goals, thereby enhancing women's contributions to sustainable agricultural and environmental development.
This agreement comes as part of the joint work between the two parties to promote sustainable rural development, improve the efficiency of agricultural sectors, support women's issues, and empower them in national development pathways, as well as unify efforts and develop areas of cooperation to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
