أكد تقرير اللجنة المكلّفة بالتحقق من الإجراءات المتخذة في حادثة تبديل الجثمان بمستشفى محافظة الرس بتوجيهٍ من أمير منطقة القصيم الأمير الدكتور فيصل بن مشعل بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز، عدم وجود أي شبهة جنائية، وأوضح أن ما حدث كان نتيجة إهمالٍ وقصورٍ إداري في التعامل مع الجثمان من قبل الجهات المعنية.
جاء ذلك في إيضاح رسمي من إمارة منطقة القصيم، بعد أن باشرت اللجنة أعمالها ورفعت لأمير المنطقة نتائج ما توصلت إليه من توصيات حول الحادثة.
ووجّه أمير المنطقة، استنادًا إلى ما انتهت إليه اللجنة، بإحالة القضية إلى النيابة العامة لاتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية، وبمخاطبة الجهات ذات العلاقة لمراجعة الاتفاقيات المبرمة بشأن تسليم واستلام الجثامين، بما يضمن تطوير الإجراءات التنظيمية ومنع تكرار مثل هذه الحالات مستقبلًا.
كما وجّه بتطبيق الأنظمة والتعليمات بحق المخالفين بعد ثبوت القصور، مع مراعاة ما يتم اتخاذه من قبل النيابة العامة، إلى جانب تطبيق نظام مزاولة المهن الصحية بحق الممارسين الذين ثبتت مخالفتهم، وفق الإجراءات النظامية المعتمدة.
وأكد أمير منطقة القصيم أهمية الالتزام الصارم بالإجراءات النظامية والرقابية في جميع المنشآت الصحية، بما يحفظ الحقوق ويصون كرامة الإنسان، مشددًا على أن هذه التوجيهات تأتي في إطار الحرص على العدالة والشفافية وتعزيز جودة العمل المؤسسي لضمان عدم تكرار مثل هذه الأخطاء مستقبلًا.
A report from the committee tasked with verifying the procedures taken in the incident of the body swap at the hospital in Al-Rass Governorate, under the direction of the Prince of Al-Qassim Region, Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, confirmed that there was no criminal suspicion. It clarified that what occurred was the result of negligence and administrative shortcomings in handling the body by the relevant authorities.
This was stated in an official clarification from the Emirate of Al-Qassim Region, after the committee began its work and submitted its findings and recommendations regarding the incident to the Prince of the region.
Based on the committee's conclusions, the Prince of the region directed that the case be referred to the Public Prosecution to take the necessary legal actions, and to communicate with the relevant authorities to review the agreements made regarding the delivery and receipt of bodies, ensuring the development of regulatory procedures and preventing the recurrence of such cases in the future.
He also directed the application of laws and regulations against violators after confirming the shortcomings, taking into account the actions taken by the Public Prosecution, in addition to applying the health professions practice system against practitioners who have been found in violation, according to the approved legal procedures.
The Prince of Al-Qassim Region emphasized the importance of strict adherence to regulatory and supervisory procedures in all health facilities, in a manner that preserves rights and safeguards human dignity, stressing that these directives come within the framework of a commitment to justice, transparency, and enhancing the quality of institutional work to ensure that such errors are not repeated in the future.
