توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره اليومي عن حالة الطقس اليوم (الجمعة)، استمرار هطول الأمطار الرعدية المصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة، على أجزاء من مناطق جازان، عسير، الباحة، ومكة المكرمة. كما تتهيأ الفرصة لتكوّن الضباب على تلك المناطق، بالإضافة إلى أجزاء من الجوف وتبوك والمنطقة الشرقية.
وأوضح التقرير أن الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر ستكون شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة تتراوح بين 20 إلى 45 كم/ساعة على الجزءين الشمالي والأوسط، وتصل إلى 50 كم/ساعة باتجاه خليج العقبة. أما على الجزء الجنوبي، فتتحول ليلًا إلى جنوبية شرقية ثم شمالية شرقية بسرعة تصل إلى 50 كم/ساعة، مع احتمال تكوّن سحب رعدية ممطرة.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن ارتفاع الموج سيكون من متر إلى مترين على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط، ويصل إلى أكثر من مترين باتجاه خليج العقبة. أما على الجزء الجنوبي، فيتراوح بين نصف متر إلى متر، وقد يتجاوز مترين أثناء الأمطار الرعدية. وتكون حالة البحر متوسطة الموج إلى مائجة في الشمال والأوسط، وخفيفة إلى متوسطة ثم مائجة في الجنوب.
The National Center of Meteorology, in its daily weather report today (Friday), expects the continuation of thunderstorm rains accompanied by hail showers and active winds in parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah. There is also a chance of fog formation in those areas, as well as in parts of Al-Jawf, Tabuk, and the Eastern Province.
The report clarified that the surface winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northerly at speeds ranging from 20 to 45 km/h in the northern and central parts, reaching up to 50 km/h towards the Gulf of Aqaba. In the southern part, the winds will shift at night to southeasterly and then northeasterly at speeds reaching 50 km/h, with a possibility of forming rainy thunderclouds.
The report indicated that the wave height will range from one to two meters in the northern and central parts, exceeding two meters towards the Gulf of Aqaba. In the southern part, it will range from half a meter to one meter, and may exceed two meters during thunderstorm rains. The sea condition will be moderate to choppy in the north and central parts, and light to moderate then choppy in the south.
