شارك وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، أمس (الأربعاء)، في الاجتماع الوزاري المشترك بين مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، على هامش أعمال الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في دورتها الـ80، بمدينة نيويورك في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
وبحث الاجتماع سبل تعزيز الشراكة والتعاون بين مجلس التعاون والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، والقضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك وعلى رأسها الأوضاع الراهنة في قطاع غزة.
حضر الاجتماع سفيرة خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية الأميرة ريما بنت بندر بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، ووكيل وزارة الخارجية للشؤون الدولية المتعددة المشرف العام على وكالة الوزارة للدبلوماسية العامة الدكتور عبدالرحمن الرسي.
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated yesterday (Wednesday) in the joint ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the United States of America, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City, USA.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance the partnership and cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the United States, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest, with a focus on the current situation in the Gaza Strip.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States, Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral International Affairs, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, who oversees the Ministry's Public Diplomacy Agency.
