نيابة عن وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، شارك وكيل وزارة الخارجية للشؤون الدولية المتعددة المشرف العام على وكالة الوزارة لشؤون الدبلوماسية العامة الدكتور عبدالرحمن الرسي، أمس (الثلاثاء)، في الاجتماع الوزاري بين مجلس دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، والجمهورية الفرنسية، على هامش أعمال الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في دورتها الـ80.
وبحث الاجتماع الذي شارك فيه وزراء دول مجلس التعاون، ووزير أوروبا والشؤون الخارجية في الجمهورية الفرنسية جان نويل بارو، سبل تعزيز مسيرة التعاون والتنسيق المشترك.
كما ناقش آخر التطورات على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية، والجهود المبذولة بشأنها، والتطرق إلى أهمية تعزيز الجهود (الخليجية - الفرنسية) بما يحقق تطلعات الدول والشعوب، ويسهم في تحقيق المزيد من الاستقرار والازدهار.
حضر الاجتماع، مدير عام مكتب وكيل الوزارة للشؤون الدولية المتعددة الدكتور محمد الشهري، ومدير إدارة مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية فيصل بن سعيد.
On behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Multilateral Affairs and the General Supervisor of the Ministry's Public Diplomacy Agency, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, participated yesterday (Tuesday) in the ministerial meeting between the Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the French Republic, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The meeting, which included the ministers of the GCC countries and the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Yves Le Drian, discussed ways to enhance the cooperation and joint coordination process.
It also addressed the latest developments on both the regional and international fronts, the efforts being made in this regard, and the importance of strengthening (Gulf-French) efforts to achieve the aspirations of the countries and peoples, contributing to greater stability and prosperity.
Attending the meeting were the Director General of the Office of the Undersecretary for International Multilateral Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shehri, and the Director of the GCC Affairs Department, Faisal bin Saeed.
