رحّبت المملكة العربية السعودية باعتراف فرنسا وبلجيكا ولوكسمبورغ ومالطا وموناكو وأندورا وسان مارينو بالدولة الفلسطينية، وذلك خلال المؤتمر الدولي الرفيع المستوى لتسوية قضية فلسطين بالوسائل السلمية، وتنفيذ حل الدولتين؛ الذي أقيم برئاسة مشتركة بين المملكة وفرنسا.
وقالت وزارة الخارجية في بيان: «إنّ تتالي اعترافات الدول بفلسطين يؤكّد الإجماع الدولي على الحق الأصيل للشعب الفلسطيني في تقرير مصيره، وإقامة دولته، والعيش على أرضه بأمن وسلام، وتحقيق تطلعاته في الاستقرار والازدهار».
وجدّدت المملكة دعوتها إلى جميع الدول للاعتراف بالدولة الفلسطينية، ومواصلة اتخاذ الخطوات الفعلية لدعم السلطة الفلسطينية وترسيخ حل الدولتين، بما يُنهي معاناة الشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق، ويصون حقوقه غير القابلة للتصرف، ويمكّن جميع دول المنطقة من العيش في أمنٍ وسلامٍ دائم.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomed the recognition of the State of Palestine by France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Andorra, and San Marino during the high-level international conference for the peaceful resolution of the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the two-state solution, which was co-chaired by the Kingdom and France.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement: "The succession of countries recognizing Palestine confirms the international consensus on the inherent right of the Palestinian people to self-determination, the establishment of their state, and to live on their land in security and peace, and to achieve their aspirations for stability and prosperity."
The Kingdom renewed its call to all countries to recognize the State of Palestine and to continue taking tangible steps to support the Palestinian Authority and solidify the two-state solution, in a way that ends the suffering of the Palestinian brotherly people, safeguards their inalienable rights, and enables all countries in the region to live in lasting security and peace.
