رحبت المملكة العربية السعودية باعتراف بريطانيا وأستراليا وكندا والبرتغال بالدولة الفلسطينية، الذي يؤكد على الالتزام الجاد من الدول الصديقة بدعم مسار السلام والدفع باتجاه حل الدولتين على أساس قرارات الشرعية الدولية ذات الصلة.
وتتطلع المملكة إلى اعتراف المزيد من الدول بدولة فلسطين، واتخاذها مزيداً من الخطوات الإيجابية، بما يسهم في تحقيق تطلعات الشعب الفلسطيني بالعيش في سلام على أرضه، ويمكّن السلطة الفلسطينية من القيام بواجباتها نحو مستقبل يسوده الأمن والاستقرار والازدهار للشعب الفلسطيني.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomed the recognition by Britain, Australia, Canada, and Portugal of the State of Palestine, which affirms the serious commitment of friendly nations to support the peace process and push towards a two-state solution based on relevant international legitimacy resolutions.
The Kingdom looks forward to the recognition of the State of Palestine by more countries and to them taking further positive steps that contribute to fulfilling the aspirations of the Palestinian people to live in peace on their land, and enable the Palestinian Authority to fulfill its duties towards a future characterized by security, stability, and prosperity for the Palestinian people.
