أغلقت الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء خطوط إنتاج لـ 5 مصانع تقوم بإنتاج منتجات اللحوم والدواجن، بعد رصد حالات عدم مطابقة تمثلت بتجاوز منتجاتها للحدود الميكروبية لبكتيريا السالمونيلا والإيكولاي وفقًا للائحة القياسية المعتمدة (SFDA.FD/GSO 1016)، إذ تُعد تلك المخالفات جسيمة نظرًا لضررها البالغ على المستهلك وما تمثله من خطر مباشر على سلامته، كونها من المسببات الرئيسية للإصابة بالتسمم الغذائي، ويعد ذلك مخالفةً صريحة للأنظمة واللوائح المتعلقة بالغذاء.
وتأتي هذه الخطوة ضمن الإجراءات التي تتبناها الهيئة للرقابة على المنتجات الخاضعة لإشرافها؛ تعزيزًا لسلامة الغذاء وحماية المستهلك من المخاطر الصحية قبل وقوعها، في مشهد يُجسد الالتزام الثابت للهيئة بتطبيق أعلى معايير الجودة والسلامة، وحماية المنتجات المتداولة داخل الأسواق السعودية.
وأكدت الهيئة أنها اتخذت جميع الإجراءات النظامية بحق المخالفين، مشيرة إلى أن مخالفة نظام الغذاء ولائحته التنفيذية تصل عقوبته إلى السجن لمدة لا تتجاوز عشر سنوات أو غرامة مالية تصل إلى عشرة ملايين ريال أو بهما معًا.
وشددت على حزمها تجاه جميع المخالفات المتعلقة بالغذاء، ولن تتوانى في إيقاع العقوبات كافة لمن يعرضون الغذاء للمخاطر، داعية المستهلكين إلى التعاون معها بالإبلاغ عن أي تجاوزات أو تعديات تطال المنتجات الخاضعة لإشرافها عبر الرقم الموحد (19999).
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has shut down production lines at 5 factories that produce meat and poultry products after detecting non-compliance cases where their products exceeded the microbial limits for Salmonella and E. coli bacteria according to the approved standard regulation (SFDA.FD/GSO 1016). These violations are considered serious due to their significant harm to consumers and the direct threat they pose to safety, as they are among the main causes of food poisoning. This constitutes a clear violation of the food-related laws and regulations.
This step is part of the measures adopted by the authority to monitor the products under its supervision; enhancing food safety and protecting consumers from health risks before they occur, in a scene that embodies the authority's steadfast commitment to applying the highest standards of quality and safety, and protecting the products circulating within Saudi markets.
The authority confirmed that it has taken all legal actions against the violators, noting that violating the food system and its executive regulations can result in a prison sentence of up to ten years or a financial penalty of up to ten million riyals, or both.
It emphasized its firmness regarding all food-related violations and will not hesitate to impose all penalties on those who expose food to risks, calling on consumers to cooperate with it by reporting any violations or infringements affecting the products under its supervision via the unified number (19999).
