بتوجيه من خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وبناء على ما رفعه ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، عن تقديم دعم إضافي للشعب اليمني الشقيق في ظل الظروف الاقتصادية الصعبة التي تواجهها الجمهورية اليمنية الشقيقة، واستجابةً لمناشدة فخامة رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني الدكتور رشاد محمد العليمي، وتأكيداً لدعم المملكة العربية السعودية المستمر لمجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني، والحكومة اليمنية، أعلنت المملكة تقديم دعمٍ اقتصاديٍّ تنمويٍّ جديد للجمهورية اليمنية بمبلغ مليار و380 مليوناً و250 ألف ريال سعودي عبر البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن.
وحرصاً من قيادة المملكة على تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار والنماء للشعب اليمني الشقيق، والمساهمة في إرساء مقومات الاستقرار الاقتصادي والمالي والنقدي في الجمهورية اليمنية الشقيقة، فقد شمل ذلك دعم موازنة الحكومة، ودعم المشتقات النفطية إضافةً إلى دعم الموازنة التشغيلية لمستشفى الأمير محمد بن سلمان في محافظة عدن، وفقاً لحوكمة تدعم جهود الحكومة اليمنية في تنفيذ الإصلاحات الاقتصادية.
Under the guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and based on what was submitted by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, regarding the provision of additional support to the brotherly Yemeni people in light of the difficult economic conditions facing the sisterly Republic of Yemen, and in response to the appeal of His Excellency the President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, and to affirm the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing support for the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government, the Kingdom announced the provision of new economic and developmental support to the Republic of Yemen amounting to one billion, three hundred and eighty million, two hundred and fifty thousand Saudi Riyals through the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen.
In its commitment to achieving security, stability, and prosperity for the brotherly Yemeni people, and contributing to establishing the foundations of economic, financial, and monetary stability in the sisterly Republic of Yemen, this support includes budget assistance for the government, support for petroleum derivatives, in addition to operational budget support for the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in the governorate of Aden, in accordance with governance that supports the Yemeni government's efforts in implementing economic reforms.
