دشّن وزير الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد الشيخ الدكتور عبداللطيف بن عبدالعزيز آل الشيخ، خلال برنامج زيارته التفقدية لفرع الوزارة في منطقة المدينة المنورة، مبادرة «مساجدنا خضراء»، وبرنامج الفرص التطوعية للعام الحالي.
وتهدف المبادرة إلى زراعة 100000 شتلة في ساحات الجوامع والمساجد بالمدينة المنورة والمحافظات التابعة لها، على خمس مراحل زمنية متتابعة، بما يضمن استدامة المشروع وتحقيق أهدافه البيئية والتنموية.
كما يتضمن برنامج الفرص التطوعية أكثر من 3500 فرصة تطوعية، يشارك فيها ما يزيد على 7400 متطوع، بإجمالي ساعات تطوعية تفوق 375000 ساعة، وبعائد اقتصادي يتجاوز 60 مليون ريال، يمثل وفرا ماليا على الوزارة من خلال إسهام المتطوعين في إنجاز مختلف البرامج والمبادرات الميدانية المرتبطة بخدمة بيوت الله وبرامجها الدعوية والمجتمعية.
The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdul Aziz Al Sheikh, launched the initiative "Our Mosques are Green" and the volunteer opportunities program for the current year during his inspection visit to the ministry's branch in the Medina region.
The initiative aims to plant 100,000 seedlings in the courtyards of mosques in Medina and its affiliated provinces, over five consecutive time phases, ensuring the sustainability of the project and achieving its environmental and developmental goals.
The volunteer opportunities program also includes more than 3,500 volunteer opportunities, with over 7,400 volunteers participating, totaling more than 375,000 volunteer hours, and an economic return exceeding 60 million riyals, representing a financial saving for the ministry through the contributions of volunteers in accomplishing various field programs and initiatives related to serving the houses of God and their religious and community programs.
