رصدت هيئة التراث 27 مخالفة للأنظمة المتعلقة بحماية الآثار والتراث العمراني خلال شهر أغسطس 2025 في عدد من مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وذلك ضمن أعمال المتابعة والرقابة التي تنفذها الهيئة لحماية المواقع والقطع الأثرية والتراثية وصونها من أي تجاوزات، تطبيقاً للأنظمة والتعليمات ذات الصلة، وتعزيز الحضور الرقابي في مختلف مناطق المملكة.
وشملت التجاوزات التعدي على مواقع تراثية مصنفة، وتصوير مواقع أثرية دون الحصول على التراخيص النظامية اللازمة، إضافة إلى قيام بعض الأفراد بعرض وبيع قطع وعملات يشتبه بأهميتها الأثرية عبر عدد من منصات التواصل الاجتماعي.
وتوزعت هذه الحالات بين 15 مخالفة عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، و12 مخالفة ميدانية في عدد من مناطق المملكة، من بينها: منطقة الرياض، ومكة المكرمة، والمدينة المنورة، والمنطقة الشرقية، ومنطقة عسير، ومنطقة تبوك.
واتخذت الهيئة الإجراءات القانونية بحق المخالفين، وإحالة عدد من القضايا إلى الجهات الأمنية والنيابة العامة، فيما أصدرت لجنة النظر في المخالفات قرارات بفرض غرامات مالية راوحت من 5000 إلى 50000 ريال، إلى جانب مصادرة القطع والأدوات المستخدمة في التعديات، واستكمال ما يلزم من إجراءات قضائية حيال المخالفات الجسيمة.
وأكّدت هيئة التراث استمرارها في أعمال عمليات الرصد، وتكثيف جهودها التوعوية بالشراكة مع المجتمع المحلي لتعزيز الوعي بأهمية حماية المواقع والقطع الأثرية من العبث والاتجار غير المشروع، وذلك ضمن مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 في صون التراث الثقافي وتنميته.
وتدعو هيئة التراث المواطنين والمقيمين إلى الإبلاغ عن أي تجاوزات أو مخالفات تمس المواقع أو القطع الأثرية، وذلك عبر فروعها ومكاتبها في مختلف مناطق المملكة، أو من خلال حساباتها الرسمية على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، أو عبر الاتصال بمركز العمليات الأمنية الموحدة 911.
The Heritage Authority recorded 27 violations of the regulations related to the protection of antiquities and urban heritage during August 2025 across various social media platforms. This is part of the monitoring and oversight efforts carried out by the authority to protect archaeological and heritage sites and preserve them from any violations, in accordance with the relevant regulations and instructions, and to enhance regulatory presence in different regions of the Kingdom.
The violations included encroachments on classified heritage sites, photographing archaeological sites without obtaining the necessary legal permits, as well as some individuals displaying and selling pieces and coins suspected of their archaeological significance through various social media platforms.
These cases were distributed between 15 violations via social media and 12 field violations in several regions of the Kingdom, including: the Riyadh region, Makkah, Madinah, the Eastern Province, Asir, and Tabuk.
The authority has taken legal action against the violators and referred several cases to the security authorities and the Public Prosecution. The committee reviewing the violations issued decisions to impose financial fines ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 riyals, in addition to confiscating the pieces and tools used in the violations, and completing the necessary judicial procedures regarding serious violations.
The Heritage Authority affirmed its continuation of monitoring operations and intensifying its awareness efforts in partnership with the local community to enhance awareness of the importance of protecting archaeological sites and pieces from tampering and illegal trade, as part of the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in preserving and developing cultural heritage.
The Heritage Authority urges citizens and residents to report any violations or infringements affecting sites or archaeological pieces, either through its branches and offices in various regions of the Kingdom, or through its official accounts on social media platforms, or by contacting the Unified Security Operations Center at 911.
