Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman received the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, today at the Royal Court in Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh.

He was welcomed with an official reception, accompanied by Arabian horses, and the national anthems of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were played, followed by a review of the honor guard with the Crown Prince.

Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif held an official discussion session, during which they reviewed the close bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, as well as the coordinated efforts to enhance aspects of the strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries in various fields. They also discussed developments in regional and international situations, issues of mutual interest, and the efforts being made towards them to achieve security and stability.

The Crown Prince hosted an official luncheon in honor of the Pakistani Prime Minister.

Following that, the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan signed a joint strategic defense agreement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Subsequently, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan left the Royal Court, where he was bid farewell by the Crown Prince.

Attending the discussion session and the signing of the agreement were the Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard, Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers, National Security Advisor Dr. Musaad bin Mohammed al-Aiban, Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah al-Qasabi, Minister of Investment Engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz al-Falih (the accompanying minister), Royal Court Advisor Mohammed bin Mazid al-Tuwaijri, Minister of Media Salman bin Yusuf al-Dosari, Director of General Intelligence Khalid bin Ali al-Humaidan, and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Nawaf Al-Maliki.

From the Pakistani side, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Army, General Syed Asim Munir, Minister of Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister of Interior Mohsin Naqvi, Minister of Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb, Minister of Climate Change Dr. Musadik Masood Malik, Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi, Ambassador of Pakistan to the Kingdom Ahmad Farooq, Chief of Staff to the Army Chief, Major General Muhammad Jawab Tariq, Military Secretary to the Prime Minister, Major General Tajdeed Mumtaz, and Chief of State Protocol in Pakistan, Teebo Usman, were present.
