في إطار تنفيذ مهمات وزارة الداخلية في مكافحة المخدرات وجهودها في متابعة نشاطات تهريبها وترويجها التي تستهدف أمن المملكة وشبابها، ضبطت المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات (142) كيلوغراماً من مادة الميثامفيتامين المخدّر (الشبو) بمنطقة المدينة المنورة مخبأة في حافلة نقل ركّاب دولية، بالتعاون مع الجهاز النظير في جمهورية العراق، وقبضت على المتورطين فيها، وهما وافدان من الجنسية العراقية.
وتهيب الجهات الأمنية بالإبلاغ عن كل ما يتوافر من معلومات لدى المواطنين والمقيمين عن أي نشاطات ذات صلة بتهريب أو ترويج المخدرات، وذلك من خلال الاتصال بالأرقام (911) في مناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية، و(999) في بقية مناطق المملكة، ورقم بلاغات المديرية العامة لمكافحة المخدرات (995)، وعبر البريد الإلكتروني 995@gdnc.gov.sa، وستعامل جميع البلاغات بسرية تامة دون أدنى مسؤولية على المبلّغ.
As part of the Ministry of Interior's efforts to combat drugs and its endeavors to monitor drug smuggling and trafficking activities that threaten the security of the Kingdom and its youth, the General Directorate for Drug Control seized (142) kilograms of the narcotic substance methamphetamine (shabu) in the Medina region, hidden in an international passenger transport bus, in cooperation with the counterpart agency in the Republic of Iraq. They arrested the individuals involved, who are two Iraqi nationals.
The security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information they may have regarding any activities related to drug smuggling or trafficking, by contacting the numbers (911) in the regions of Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions, as well as the General Directorate for Drug Control's reporting number (995), and via email at 995@gdnc.gov.sa. All reports will be treated with complete confidentiality, with no liability on the reporter.
