اختتم الجناح السعودي في معرض معدات الدفاع والأمن الدولي «DSEI 2025» في العاصمة البريطانية لندن مشاركته بتعزيز الشراكات الإستراتيجية، واستعراض أحدث التقنيات والابتكارات الدفاعية، وذلك بمشاركة ست جهات حكومية وخاصة خلال الفترة من 9 إلى 12 سبتمبر في مركز «إكسيل لندن» بتنظيم الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية.
وعقد محافظ الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية المهندس أحمد بن عبدالعزيز العوهلي، والوفد المرافق له، سلسلة من اللقاءات الثنائية المثمرة مع عدد من كبار المسؤولين العسكريين، والرؤساء التنفيذيين لكبرى الشركات الدفاعية العالمية، وبحثت هذه اللقاءات سبل تعزيز التعاون المشترك في مجال الصناعات العسكرية، وتبادل الخبرات، وتمكين الشركات الوطنية وتعزيز قدرتها التنافسية على الساحة الدولية، بما يخدم أهداف الأمن الوطني والتنمية الاقتصادية المستدامة، نحو توطين الصناعات العسكرية في المملكة.
وأسهمت المشاركة السعودية في إبراز المنتجات والقدرات المتنامية للمملكة في هذا القطاع الحيوي، ودعم وتمكين الشركات الوطنية العاملة في القطاع، وجذب الاستثمارات العالمية النوعية، إضافة إلى نقل وتوطين التقنية، إذ استقبل الجناح السعودي في المعرض عدداً كبيراً من الزوار والمسؤولين والخبراء بهدف تبادل الخبرات وبحث فرص الاستثمار ونقل المعرفة.
وأكدت المشاركة ريادة المملكة في بناء وتطوير قطاع صناعات عسكرية محلي ومستدام، يرتكز على أطر تشريعية ولوائح محكمة، بما يدعم جهود التوطين والتمكين والازدهار لهذا القطاع الحيوي.
وضمن مشاركة الجناح السعودي في معرض معدات الدفاع والأمن الدولي DSEI 2025، نظمت الهيئة ورشة عمل بعنوان «استكشاف الفرص الاستثمارية في المملكة العربية السعودية»، حضرها محافظ الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية المهندس أحمد بن عبدالعزيز العوهلي، ووزير الدولة وزير المشتريات الدفاعية والصناعة في وزارة الدفاع البريطانية، ورئيس الجانب البريطاني في اللجنة الصناعية السعودية البريطانية لوك بولارد، إذ ناقشت الورشة سبل التعاون بين الشركات السعودية والبريطانية لتمكين سلاسل الإمداد بما يدعم مستهدفات التوطين.
وشهد الجناح السعودي خلال أيام المعرض توقيع اتفاقيتي تعاون بين شركة وطنية وشركة عالمية، تمثلت في اتفاقية تعاون بين الشركة السعودية لتهيئة وصيانة الطائرات GDC، وشركة ABS العالمية، بهدف إنشاء ورشة متخصصة لصيانة شفرات الطائرات العمودية، إضافة إلى توقيع اتفاقية شراكة إستراتيجية بين شركة الشرق المتطور للصناعات القابضة DEMCO، وشركة D&M القابضة، بهدف توطين صناعة بادئ الاشتعال للذخائر الخفيفة والمتوسطة والثقيلة، وتوطين صناعة المواد الدافعة للذخائر الخفيفة والمتوسطة والثقيلة.
وتعكس هذه الشراكات الإستراتيجية الدور المتنامي لقطاع الصناعات العسكرية في المملكة العربية السعودية، انطلاقاً من حرص الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية على دعم وتمكين الشركات الوطنية، وتعزيز قدرتها التنافسية على الساحة الدولية، بما يحقق مستهدفات الأمن الوطني والتنمية الاقتصادية المستدامة.
واستقطب الجناح السعودي في معرض معدات الدفاع والأمن الدولي «DSEI2025» اهتماماً واسعاً من الوفود الرسمية والزوار، إذ قُدمت عروض متنوعة عن أبرز المنتجات الوطنية، والتقنيات المبتكرة، والقدرات العسكرية المتقدمة التي تقدمها الشركات السعودية المشاركة، كما سُلط الضوء على البيئة الاستثمارية الجاذبة في المملكة، من خلال التعريف بالحوافز ورحلة المستثمر، إلى جانب استعراض شامل لدور الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية ومهماتها، والسياسات والتشريعات التنظيمية، وأبرز القدرات الوطنية في مجالات الصناعات العسكرية والأمنية، وأشاد الزوار بالمستوى المتقدم الذي وصلت إليه الصناعات العسكرية السعودية، وبالطموحات الكبيرة التي تسعى المملكة لتحقيقها في هذا القطاع الحيوي.
وجددت الهيئة العامة للصناعات العسكرية خلال المعرض التزامها بتحقيق هدف توطين ما يزيد على 50% من الإنفاق العسكري على المعدات والخدمات بحلول عام 2030، وتطوير قطاع الصناعات العسكرية، ليصبح أحد روافد الاقتصاد الوطني عبر تمكين وتطوير قدرات التصنيع العسكري الوطنية، وتحويل القطاع إلى رافد اقتصادي حيوي، ومساهماً رئيساً في تعزيز الاستقلال الدفاعي والأمن الوطني، والعمل على تسهيل تدفق الاستثمارات المحلية والعالمية، من خلال حوكمة القطاع وتحديث اللوائح المنظمة للأنشطة العسكرية.
وأكدت الهيئة أن مشاركة الجناح السعودي في المعرض حققت أهدافها في تعزيز مكانة المملكة شريكاً موثوقاً على الساحة الدولية، وتوسيع شبكة علاقاتها مع كبرى الشركات العالمية، إلى جانب تمكين الشركات الوطنية من إبراز قدراتها واستكشاف فرص النمو والتوسع في الأسواق العالمية.
The Saudi pavilion at the International Defence and Security Equipment Exhibition "DSEI 2025" in London, the capital of the United Kingdom, concluded its participation by enhancing strategic partnerships and showcasing the latest defense technologies and innovations. This participation included six governmental and private entities during the period from September 9 to 12 at the "Excel London" center, organized by the General Authority for Military Industries.
The Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries, Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohailey, and his accompanying delegation held a series of fruitful bilateral meetings with several senior military officials and CEOs of major global defense companies. These meetings discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the field of military industries, exchange experiences, empower national companies, and enhance their competitiveness on the international stage, in line with the objectives of national security and sustainable economic development, aiming to localize military industries in the Kingdom.
The Saudi participation contributed to highlighting the growing products and capabilities of the Kingdom in this vital sector, supporting and empowering national companies operating in the sector, attracting high-quality global investments, in addition to transferring and localizing technology. The Saudi pavilion at the exhibition received a large number of visitors, officials, and experts aimed at exchanging experiences and exploring investment opportunities and knowledge transfer.
The participation confirmed the Kingdom's leadership in building and developing a local and sustainable military industries sector, based on legislative frameworks and strict regulations, supporting efforts for localization, empowerment, and prosperity in this vital sector.
As part of the Saudi pavilion's participation in the International Defence and Security Equipment Exhibition DSEI 2025, the authority organized a workshop titled "Exploring Investment Opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," attended by the Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries, Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohailey, the British Minister of State for Defence Procurement and Industry, and the Chairman of the British side in the Saudi-British Industrial Committee, Luke Pollard. The workshop discussed ways to cooperate between Saudi and British companies to empower supply chains in support of localization objectives.
During the exhibition days, the Saudi pavilion witnessed the signing of two cooperation agreements between a national company and a global company, represented by a cooperation agreement between the Saudi Company for Aircraft Maintenance and Repair GDC and the global company ABS, aimed at establishing a specialized workshop for the maintenance of helicopter blades. Additionally, a strategic partnership agreement was signed between the Eastern Advanced Holding Company DEMCO and D&M Holding Company, aimed at localizing the production of igniters for light, medium, and heavy ammunition, and localizing the production of propellant materials for light, medium, and heavy ammunition.
These strategic partnerships reflect the growing role of the military industries sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stemming from the General Authority for Military Industries' commitment to support and empower national companies and enhance their competitiveness on the international stage, achieving national security objectives and sustainable economic development.
The Saudi pavilion at the International Defence and Security Equipment Exhibition "DSEI2025" attracted significant attention from official delegations and visitors, as diverse presentations were made about the most prominent national products, innovative technologies, and advanced military capabilities offered by the participating Saudi companies. The attractive investment environment in the Kingdom was highlighted, through introducing incentives and the investor journey, along with a comprehensive overview of the role of the General Authority for Military Industries and its missions, regulatory policies and legislation, and the most notable national capabilities in the fields of military and security industries. Visitors praised the advanced level reached by Saudi military industries and the ambitious goals the Kingdom seeks to achieve in this vital sector.
The General Authority for Military Industries reaffirmed during the exhibition its commitment to achieving the goal of localizing over 50% of military spending on equipment and services by 2030 and developing the military industries sector to become one of the tributaries of the national economy by empowering and developing national military manufacturing capabilities, transforming the sector into a vital economic contributor, and a key player in enhancing defense independence and national security, while working to facilitate the flow of local and global investments through sector governance and updating the regulations governing military activities.
The authority confirmed that the Saudi pavilion's participation in the exhibition achieved its objectives in enhancing the Kingdom's position as a trusted partner on the international stage and expanding its network of relationships with major global companies, in addition to enabling national companies to showcase their capabilities and explore growth and expansion opportunities in global markets.
