تحت رعاية ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، يقام غداً (الجمعة)، الحفل الختامي لمهرجان ولي العهد للهجن في نسخته السابعة، الذي ينظمه الاتحاد السعودي للهجن في ميدان الطائف لسباقات الهجن.
وبهذه المناسبة، رفع وزير الرياضة رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية والبارالمبية السعودية الأمير عبدالعزيز بن تركي بن فيصل بن عبدالعزيز، الشكر والامتنان لولي العهد، على رعايته للحفل الختامي لمهرجانه للهجن.
وقال وزير الرياضة: «إن هذه الرعاية الكريمة تمثل امتدادًا للاهتمام الكبير الذي توليه القيادة الرشيدة للقطاع الرياضي عامة ورياضة الهجن خاصة، وتجسيدًا للدعم غير المسبوق من ولي العهد، وتعزيزًا لمسيرة التمكين التي جعلت من الرياضة إحدى أدوات التطوير الشامل، وفق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، ونحن ماضون -بعون الله- في بذل المزيد من الجهود لتحقيق تطلعات الوطن، ورفع رايته في مختلف المحافل الإقليمية والدولية».
وخصص الاتحاد السعودي للهجن، جوائز مالية تتجاوز قيمتها 50 مليون ريال تنافس عليها مجموعة كبيرة من ملّاك الهجن المحليين والدوليين، حيث بلغ عدد الأشواط التي تنافسوا عليها خلال فترة المهرجان 249 شوطًا متنوعًا من خلال فئات (مفاريد، حقايق، لقايا، جذاع، ثنايا، حيل وزمول).
Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the closing ceremony of the Crown Prince Camel Festival in its seventh edition will be held tomorrow (Friday), organized by the Saudi Camel Federation at the Taif Camel Racing Field.
On this occasion, the Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Crown Prince for his sponsorship of the closing ceremony of the camel festival.
The Minister of Sports stated: “This generous sponsorship represents an extension of the great interest that the wise leadership gives to the sports sector in general and camel racing in particular, and embodies the unprecedented support from the Crown Prince, enhancing the empowerment journey that has made sports one of the tools for comprehensive development, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. We are determined - with God's help - to make further efforts to achieve the aspirations of the nation and raise its flag in various regional and international forums.”
The Saudi Camel Federation has allocated cash prizes exceeding 50 million riyals, which a large group of local and international camel owners will compete for, with the number of races they competed in during the festival reaching 249 diverse races across categories (Mufarid, Haqaiq, Luqaya, Jadh'a, Thaniya, Hil and Zumul).
