رأس النائب العام الشيخ سعود بن عبدالله المعجب وفد المملكة المشارك في أعمال المؤتمر الثلاثين للرابطة الدولية للمدعين العامين، الذي تستضيفه العاصمة السنغافورية على مدى أربعة أيام، بمشاركة عدد من قيادات النيابة العامة.
ويجمع المؤتمر نخبة من النيابات العامة وهيئات الادعاء من مختلف دول العالم، ومنظمات دولية متخصصة في حقوق الإنسان، لاستكشاف كيف تُستغل جرائم التكنولوجيا والذكاء الاصطناعي، وسبل تمكين المدعين العامين من توظيف الأدوات التقنية الحديثة في مجالات التحقيقات والمحاكمات، وبحث أفضل الممارسات للتعاون الدولي في مكافحة الجرائم العابرة للحدود، ولا سيما الجرائم الإلكترونية والمالية، والعمل على بناء القدرات التخصصية لدى المدعين العامين في مجالات علوم الأدلة الجنائية، والمحاسبة الجنائية، والمتابعة النفسية.
وعلى هامش المؤتمر، عقد النائب العام سلسلة من اللقاءات الثنائية مع عدد من نظرائه من الدول المشاركة، من بينهم النائب العام في الاتحاد السويسري الدكتور ستيفين باتلر، والنائب العام لجمهورية قيرغيزستان مقصد أساناليف، والمدعي العام لجمهورية ألبانيا أولسيان تشيلا، والنائب العام لجمهورية أرمينيا آنا فاردابتيان.
وتأتي مشاركة المملكة في هذا الحدث الدولي؛ تأكيدًا على دورها الفاعل في تعزيز التعاون الدولي بمجال العدالة الجنائية، ودعم الجهود المشتركة لحماية الأمن الإقليمي والدولي، إلى جانب تبادل الخبرات حول أحدث الممارسات والتقنيات في مجالات التحقيق الجنائي ومكافحة الجريمة المنظمة.
The Attorney General Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mu'ajjab headed the delegation of the Kingdom participating in the 30th conference of the International Association of Prosecutors, hosted by the Singaporean capital over four days, with the participation of several leaders from the Public Prosecution.
The conference brings together a select group of public prosecutions and prosecuting authorities from various countries around the world, as well as international organizations specialized in human rights, to explore how technology and artificial intelligence crimes are exploited, ways to empower prosecutors to utilize modern technical tools in investigations and trials, and to discuss best practices for international cooperation in combating transnational crimes, particularly cyber and financial crimes, while working on building specialized capacities among prosecutors in the fields of forensic science, forensic accounting, and psychological follow-up.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Attorney General held a series of bilateral meetings with several of his counterparts from participating countries, including the Attorney General of the Swiss Confederation Dr. Steven Butler, the Attorney General of the Kyrgyz Republic Makhsum Asanaliev, the Attorney General of the Republic of Albania Olcian Cila, and the Attorney General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan.
The Kingdom's participation in this international event reaffirms its active role in enhancing international cooperation in the field of criminal justice and supporting joint efforts to protect regional and international security, alongside exchanging experiences on the latest practices and technologies in the fields of criminal investigation and combating organized crime.
