«اعتدال»: 66% من الرسائل تحرض على العنف

The Global Center for Combating Extremism (Etidal) revealed that it has monitored more than 12,997,455 extremist messages for analysis, tracked over a period of 90 days. The center indicated that 66% of the messages, totaling 8,586,239, contained inciting and promotional content for violence, while 34% of them, amounting to 4,411,216 messages, had news content. It pointed out that the analysis showed this propaganda is not just a standalone discourse, but an interconnected network where the messages integrate to push individuals towards circles of violence and hatred. Inciting promotional messages are used to stir emotions and enhance behaviors aimed at targeting institutions, undermining security and stability, and weakening the economy. News messages are employed to construct a distorted narrative that reshapes reality from a misleading perspective, noting that this reflects the focus of terrorist organizations on targeting security, as it is the foundation of community trust and the bulwark to protect and ensure stability.
