نفّذت الفرق الرقابية التابعة لوزارة الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية أكثر من 17 ألف زيارة ميدانية في مختلف مناطق المملكة؛ للتأكد من التزام المنشآت بتطبيق قرار حظر العمل تحت أشعة الشمس، أسفرت عن رصد 1,910 مخالفات بحق المنشآت غير الملتزمة، فيما استقبلت منذ بدء القرار في الـ 15 من يونيو حتى 26 أغسطس أكثر من 300 بلاغ جرى التعامل معها ضمن المدد المحددة، فيما كثفت الوزارة بالشراكة مع المجلس الوطني للسلامة والصحة المهنية، جهودها التوعوية من خلال نشر مواد إعلامية وإرشادية؛ تهدف إلى رفع مستوى وعي العاملين والمنشآت بمعايير السلامة والصحة المهنية.
ويأتي ذلك للحفاظ على سلامة وصحة العاملين، وضمان توفير بيئة عمل آمنة وصحية وفق اشتراطات السلامة والصحة المهنية، وتأكيداً على أهمية الإجراءات الوقائية لحماية العاملين خلال ساعات الذروة الصيفية.
وتؤكد الوزارة أن هذه الجهود الرقابية والتوعوية تمثل جزءاً من منظومة متكاملة تهدف إلى تعزيز الثقافة الوقائية، وتحقيق الامتثال الكامل للأنظمة، وضمان سلامة العاملين في مواقع العمل المختلفة، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 في تحسين بيئة العمل ورفع مستويات السلامة والصحة المهنية.
The regulatory teams affiliated with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development have conducted more than 17,000 field visits across various regions of the Kingdom to ensure that establishments comply with the decision to prohibit work under direct sunlight. This has resulted in the detection of 1,910 violations against non-compliant establishments. Since the decision took effect on June 15 until August 26, more than 300 reports have been received and addressed within the specified timeframes. Meanwhile, the ministry, in partnership with the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health, has intensified its awareness efforts by disseminating informational and guidance materials aimed at raising the awareness of workers and establishments regarding occupational safety and health standards.
This is aimed at preserving the safety and health of workers and ensuring the provision of a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with occupational safety and health requirements, emphasizing the importance of preventive measures to protect workers during peak summer hours.
The ministry affirms that these regulatory and awareness efforts are part of an integrated system aimed at enhancing the preventive culture, achieving full compliance with regulations, and ensuring the safety of workers in various workplaces, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to improve the work environment and raise levels of occupational safety and health.
