تمكنت الفرق الرقابية بوزارة الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد من كشف حالتي اختلاس كهرباء من عدادات مسجدين بمحافظة الشماسية بمنطقة القصيم.

في الحالة الأولى، كشفت الفرق الميدانية اختلاساً للكهرباء من عداد جامع يقع على الطريق السريع، حيث جرى سحب التيار عبر كيبل كهربائي بعد حفر الأسفلت ودفنه داخله، ثم توصيله إلى (9) غرف ودورات مياه ومطبخ يسكن بها ما لا يقل عن (34) عاملاً، وتم تجهيزها بالمكيفات والإنارة والأجهزة الكهربائية، إضافة إلى تشغيل غطاس على بئر لضخ المياه إلى خزانات وبرك مائية ومزرعة كبيرة مجاورة للمسجد.

وفي الحالة الثانية، تم كشف اختلاس للتيار الكهربائي من أحد المساجد، حيث جرى توصيل الكهرباء إلى مضخات تعمل على ضخ المياه لري النخيل الممتدة على مساحات واسعة داخل المزرعة.
وأكدت الوزارة أن الفرق الرقابية باشرت الواقعتين على الفور، وقامت بإزالة الاختلاس مباشرة، ورفعت التقارير اللازمة للجهات المختصة لاستكمال الإجراءات النظامية بحق المختلسين، ومحاسبتهم على كامل الاستهلاك الذي تم اختلاسه، مشددة على أنها لن تتهاون مع أي تعديات على بيوت الله ومرافقها.

ودعت الوزارة المواطنين والمقيمين إلى التعاون والإبلاغ عن أي تجاوزات أو تعديات تمس بيوت الله عبر الرقم الموحد للوزارة (1933).

The monitoring teams at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da'wah, and Guidance were able to uncover two cases of electricity theft from the meters of two mosques in the Al-Shamasiyah Governorate in the Qassim region.

In the first case, the field teams discovered electricity theft from the meter of a mosque located on the highway, where the current was drawn through an electrical cable after digging up the asphalt and burying it inside, then connecting it to (9) rooms, bathrooms, and a kitchen housing no less than (34) workers. These were equipped with air conditioning, lighting, and electrical appliances, in addition to operating a pump on a well to supply water to tanks, ponds, and a large farm adjacent to the mosque.

In the second case, electricity theft was uncovered from one of the mosques, where electricity was connected to pumps that work to irrigate the palm trees spread over large areas within the farm.
The ministry confirmed that the monitoring teams immediately addressed both incidents, removed the theft directly, and submitted the necessary reports to the relevant authorities to complete the legal procedures against the thieves and hold them accountable for the total consumption that was stolen, emphasizing that it will not tolerate any violations against the houses of Allah and their facilities.
