كشف خبير هندسة النظم الاتصالية والمدن الذكية الدكتور فارس المالكي لـ«عكاظ» أن المستقبل التقني في المملكة العربية السعودية يتشكل بسرعة فائقة، مدفوعاً برؤية 2030 التي تضع الابتكار في صلب أولوياتها.وقال: «في خضم هذا التحول يأتي إطلاق تطبيق «علّام» من قبل شركة HUMAIN كأول تطبيق سعودي متكامل للذكاء الاصطناعي التوليدي، ليؤكد نضج البيئة الرقمية المحلية».ونوه إلى أن التطبيق أظهر تفوقا واضحا في الفهم السياقي للعربية، بينما ينافس إقليميًا نماذج مثل Falcon وJais اللذين طورتهما الإمارات، وبهذا يمهّد علّام الطريق لمرحلة جديدة من الذكاء السيادي الذي يخدم المنطقة بلغتها وثقافتها، ويضع السعودية في قلب المنافسة العالمية.وأضاف: «تم تدريب نموذج علّام 34 على عشرات البيتابايت من البيانات، بما فيها أكثر من 380 مليار كلمة عربية ونحو 394 ألف كتاب، ومما يميز التطبيق القدرة على فهم اللغة العربية الفصحى إلى جانب اللهجات الإقليمية المختلفة، وخضع النموذج لمرحلة الضبط الدقيق (Fine-tuning) على محتوى يتناسب مع الثقافة العربية والإسلامية، واستخدمت تقنيات التعلم بالتعزيز من ملاحظات البشر (RLHF) لضمان التزامه بالقيم الأخلاقية وحماية الخصوصية».وأكد المالكي أن هذا التطبيق بمثابة نقطة تحول، فهو لا يمثل مجرد أداة تكنولوجية، بل هو شهادة على قدرة العقول السعودية على تطوير حلول تقنية تنافسية، كما أن تركيز «علّام» على المحتوى العربي وفهم اللهجات المحلية يمنحه ميزة تنافسية فريدة في السوق الإقليمية، مما يجعله أكثر ملاءمة للمستخدمين العرب مقارنة بالعمالقة العالميين.ولفت إلى أنه على الساحة الدولية، يشكل «علّام» تحدياً كبيراً، فبينما يسيطر عمالقة مثل OpenAI في تطبيق ChatGPT، وشركة Google في تطبيق Gemni على السوق، يمكن لـ HUMAIN السعودية عبر تطبيق علّام أن يجد مكانه من خلال التركيز على تخصصات معينة أو تقديم خدمات مبتكرة، وقد ظهر تأثيره جلياً بالفعل على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، حيث أثار اهتماماً واسعاً، مما يمهد الطريق لبناء قاعدة جماهيرية قوية.وأشار إلى أن نجاح «علّام» سيُعزز من مكانة السعودية كمركز إقليمي للذكاء الاصطناعي، ويشجع المزيد من الشركات المحلية على الابتكار.

Dr. Fares Al-Maliki, an expert in communication systems engineering and smart cities, revealed to "Okaz" that the technological future in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is rapidly taking shape, driven by Vision 2030, which places innovation at the core of its priorities. He stated, "Amid this transformation, the launch of the 'Allam' application by HUMAIN as the first integrated Saudi application for generative artificial intelligence confirms the maturity of the local digital environment." He noted that the application has demonstrated clear superiority in contextual understanding of Arabic, while regionally competing with models like Falcon and Jais developed by the UAE. In this way, Allam paves the way for a new phase of sovereign intelligence that serves the region in its language and culture, placing Saudi Arabia at the heart of global competition. He added, "The Allam model has been trained on tens of petabytes of data, including over 380 billion Arabic words and about 394,000 books. What distinguishes the application is its ability to understand both Modern Standard Arabic and various regional dialects. The model underwent a fine-tuning phase on content that aligns with Arab and Islamic culture, and reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) techniques were used to ensure its adherence to ethical values and privacy protection." Al-Maliki emphasized that this application represents a turning point; it is not just a technological tool but a testament to the capability of Saudi minds to develop competitive technological solutions. Furthermore, Allam's focus on Arabic content and understanding local dialects gives it a unique competitive advantage in the regional market, making it more suitable for Arab users compared to global giants. He pointed out that on the international stage, Allam poses a significant challenge. While giants like OpenAI dominate the ChatGPT application and Google leads with the Gemini application in the market, HUMAIN can find its place through the Allam application by focusing on specific specialties or offering innovative services. Its impact has already been clearly seen on social media platforms, where it has generated wide interest, paving the way for building a strong fan base.
