صدر إعلان مشترك عن وزيري خارجية المملكة العربية السعودية والجمهورية الإيطالية، فيما يلي نصه: "نؤكد مجددًا نحن وزيرا خارجية المملكة العربية السعودية والجمهورية الإيطالية، وانطلاقًا من التزامنا المشترك بتحقيق سلام عادل وآمن وشامل ومستدام في الشرق الأوسط، دعوتنا إلى الوقف الفوري للحرب في غزة والإفراج الفوري عن جميع الرهائن، وندين أي إجراءات أحادية الجانب أو أعمال عنف في الضفة الغربية من شأنها أن تقوض حل الدولتين.
وندعو إلى السماح بوصول المساعدات الإنسانية والإمدادات الحيوية دون قيود إلى جميع أنحاء قطاع غزة، بالإضافة إلى رفع القيود عن جميع إيرادات المقاصة الفلسطينية المحتجزة.
ونؤكد مجددًا رفضنا القاطع لأي تهجير للسكان الفلسطينيين تحت أي ذريعة، ويتوجب الالتزام الكامل بمبدأ عدم التهجير والطرد.
كما نؤكد أن أي ترتيبات لما بعد الحرب، يجب أن ترتبط ارتباطًا وثيقًا بتنفيذ واضح ومحدد زمنيًا يفضي لحل سياسي ينهي الاحتلال، ويحقق سلامًا عادلًا وشاملًا.
وفي هذا الإطار، ستبحث المملكة وإيطاليا أوجه التعاون الفاعلة لتمكين السلطة الفلسطينية بناءً على حل الدولتين، وبما يتوافق مع رؤية البلدين في إحلال السلام والأمن في المنطقة وخارجها".
A joint statement was issued by the foreign ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Italian Republic, the text of which is as follows: "We reaffirm, as the foreign ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Italian Republic, our joint commitment to achieving a just, secure, comprehensive, and sustainable peace in the Middle East. We call for an immediate cessation of hostilities in Gaza and the immediate release of all hostages, and we condemn any unilateral actions or acts of violence in the West Bank that could undermine the two-state solution.
We call for unrestricted access to humanitarian assistance and essential supplies throughout the Gaza Strip, in addition to lifting restrictions on all withheld Palestinian clearance revenues.
We again emphasize our firm rejection of any displacement of the Palestinian population under any pretext, and there must be full adherence to the principle of non-displacement and expulsion.
We also affirm that any post-war arrangements must be closely linked to a clear and time-bound implementation that leads to a political solution ending the occupation and achieving a just and comprehensive peace.
In this context, Saudi Arabia and Italy will explore effective avenues of cooperation to empower the Palestinian Authority based on the two-state solution, in line with the vision of both countries for establishing peace and security in the region and beyond."
