كشفت بلدية محافظة النعيرية بدء أعمال إعادة تأهيل وسفلتة عدد من الطرق والشوارع الرئيسية والفرعية بالمحافظة، ضمن خططها لتعزيز التنمية الحضرية والمساهمة في انسيابية الحركة المرورية، إضافة لجهودها المتواصلة للارتقاء بالخدمات البلدية، وتحسين وتطوير البنية التحتية، بما يساهم في تعزيز جودة الحياة.
من جهته أشار رئيس بلدية محافظة النعيرية المهندس محمد بن عبدالله المطيري إلى أن أعمال إعادة التأهيل، تشمل، طريق الملك عبدالعزيز، الذي يعتبر الشريان الرئيسي للمحافظة بطول 2,100 متر، ومساحة إجمالية تبلغ 64,000 متر مربع، كمرحلة أولى للأعمال، لافتاً إلى أن هذه الأعمال تأتي ضمن عدد من المشاريع التنموية التي تستهدفها البلدية، لرفع كفاءة الطرق والشوارع الرئيسية والفرعية لتتواكب مع وتيرة التنمية والزيادة السكانية بالمدينة.
ونوّه المهندس المطيري، إلى استمرار أعمال الصيانة وإعادة التأهيل خلال الفترة القادمة في عدد من المداخل والميادين والشوارع بالمحافظة، للارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات المقدمة للمواطنين، وتحسين المشهد الحضري، وتطوير قطاع الطرق للارتقاء بمؤشر جودة الحياة، ورفع مستويات السلامة المرورية بالمحافظة.
The Municipality of Al-Nairiyah Governorate has announced the commencement of rehabilitation and asphalting works on several main and secondary roads in the governorate, as part of its plans to enhance urban development and contribute to the smooth flow of traffic, in addition to its ongoing efforts to elevate municipal services and improve and develop infrastructure, which contributes to enhancing the quality of life.
For his part, the Mayor of Al-Nairiyah Governorate, Engineer Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Mutairi, indicated that the rehabilitation works include King Abdulaziz Road, which is considered the main artery of the governorate, with a length of 2,100 meters and a total area of 64,000 square meters, as the first phase of the works. He pointed out that these works are part of several developmental projects targeted by the municipality to raise the efficiency of main and secondary roads to keep pace with the pace of development and population growth in the city.
Engineer Al-Mutairi noted that maintenance and rehabilitation works will continue in the coming period in several entrances, squares, and streets in the governorate, to elevate the level of services provided to citizens, improve the urban landscape, and develop the road sector to enhance the quality of life index and raise traffic safety levels in the governorate.
