بالتعاون بين مكتبة الملك عبدالعزيز العامة، وجامعة الأميرة نورة بنت عبدالرحمن؛ وفي إطار مشروع ثقافي نوعي للترجمة يعكس عمق الاهتمام بالأدب العربي والعالمي، من أجل تعزيز التواصل الحضاري بين الثقافات.
أصدرت مكتبة الملك عبدالعزيز العامة (24) قصة مترجمة في مجال أدب الأطفال، حيث قامت بترجمة القصص من اللغة العربية إلى ثلاث لغات عالمية هي: الإنجليزية والفرنسية والصينية.
وأوضحت المكتبة أنه من القصص المترجمة إلى اللغة الفرنسية قصة عن القهوة السعودية جاءت بعنوان: Hours pour le café saoudien ، كما تمت ترجمة عدد كبير من قصص الأطفال من العربية إلى الصينية للكاتبات: الجوهرة آل جهجاه، وأروى الثنيان، وماريا دعدوش، ومرام المطيري، وفاطمة خوجة، ووفاء السبيل، وغيرهن من الكاتبات المعنيات بأدب الأطفال، حيث تدور القصص حول موضوعات عن الألوان، والهوايات والحرف، والرسم، وحكايات الجدة، والحج والعمرة، والتراث السعودي.
ويهدف المشروع؛ إلى نقل الأدب السعودي والعربي إلى العالمية، وإبراز غنى أدب الأطفال العربي وثرائه بالموضوعات والقصص المتنوعة التي تلائم مختلف الفئات العمرية للأطفال، ومد جسور التواصل بين الشعوب والثقافات، ودعم حركة الترجمة المتخصصة في أدب الأطفال، وتنوع المحتوى العربي من خلال نقله للغات العالمية، ودعم رؤية المملكة 2030 عبر إثراء الثقافة العالمية بالمحتوى الثقافي والمعرفي العربي، وتقديم صورة زاهية من الإبداع السعودي المتخصص في مجال أدب الأطفال.
In collaboration between the King Abdulaziz Public Library and Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University; as part of a qualitative cultural translation project that reflects the deep interest in Arabic and global literature, aimed at enhancing civilizational communication between cultures.
The King Abdulaziz Public Library has published (24) translated stories in the field of children's literature, having translated the stories from Arabic into three global languages: English, French, and Chinese.
The library clarified that among the stories translated into French is a story about Saudi coffee titled: Hours pour le café saoudien. Additionally, a large number of children's stories were translated from Arabic to Chinese by writers such as: Al-Jawhara Al-Jahjah, Arwa Al-Thunayan, Maria Dadouch, Maram Al-Mutairi, Fatima Khawja, Wafa Al-Sabeel, and other female writers concerned with children's literature. The stories revolve around themes of colors, hobbies and crafts, drawing, grandmother's tales, Hajj and Umrah, and Saudi heritage.
The project aims to bring Saudi and Arabic literature to the global stage, highlighting the richness of Arabic children's literature and its wealth of diverse themes and stories suitable for various age groups of children. It seeks to build bridges of communication between peoples and cultures, support the specialized translation movement in children's literature, diversify Arabic content by translating it into global languages, and support the Kingdom's Vision 2030 by enriching global culture with Arabic cultural and knowledge content, while presenting a vibrant image of Saudi creativity specialized in the field of children's literature.
