اختتم وزير الصحة فهد عبدالرحمن الجلاجل، زيارة رسمية إلى نيوزيلندا، التقى خلالها عدداً من المسؤولين وقادة القطاع الصحي.
وجرى خلال الزيارة، بحث أوجه التعاون الثنائي بين المملكة ونيوزيلندا في مجالات الرعاية الصحية، واستكشاف الفرص الواعدة للتعاون بين البلدين، كما جرى خلال الاجتماعات تسليط الضوء على تجربة المملكة في تطوير برامج الصحة النفسية الرقمية التي أسهمت في خدمة ملايين المستفيدين، إلى جانب مناقشة أوجه التكامل بين مستشفى «صحة» الافتراضي في المملكة، الذي تم تدشينه ليكون الأكبر من نوعه عالمياً، ومنظومة التطبيب عن بُعد في نيوزيلندا.
كما بحثا مجالات التعاون في تطوير نماذج الرعاية الصحية المعتمدة على التقنيات الحديثة، التي تضع المريض على رأس قائمة الأولويات الصحية، إضافة إلى مناقشة آفاق دمج الممارسات الصحية التقليدية المستندة إلى الأدلة العلمية ضمن منظومات الرعاية الحديثة، بما يعكس الموروث الصحي المميز في البلدين، ومناقشة تنمية الكوادر الصحية، وتعزيز كفاءة الأنظمة الصحية من خلال تبادل الخبرات والتجارب بين البلدين.
وتأتي زيارة وزير الصحة إلى نيوزيلندا، في سياق جهود المملكة الرامية إلى توسيع نطاق شراكاتها الدولية في القطاع الصحي، بما يسهم في دعم مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 وتحسين مخرجات الصحة العامة على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي.
يُذكر، أن وزير الصحة، اختتم قبل أيام زيارته الرسمية إلى أستراليا، في خطوة نوعية تعزز التعاون الصحي بين منطقة الشرق الأوسط وإقليم أوقيانوسيا، إذ اتفق الجانبان على تبادل الخبرات وتبنّي الابتكار بهدف تحسين مخرجات الرعاية الصحية.

The Minister of Health, Fahd Abdulrahman Aljalajel, concluded an official visit to New Zealand, during which he met with several officials and leaders in the health sector.
During the visit, the two sides discussed aspects of bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom and New Zealand in the fields of healthcare, exploring promising opportunities for collaboration between the two countries. The meetings also highlighted the Kingdom's experience in developing digital mental health programs that have served millions of beneficiaries, in addition to discussing the integration between the "Seha" virtual hospital in the Kingdom, which was launched to be the largest of its kind globally, and the telemedicine system in New Zealand.
They also explored areas of collaboration in developing healthcare models based on modern technologies that prioritize the patient at the top of health priorities, in addition to discussing the prospects of integrating traditional health practices based on scientific evidence within modern healthcare systems, reflecting the unique health heritage of both countries, and discussing the development of health workforce and enhancing the efficiency of health systems through the exchange of experiences and practices between the two countries.
The Minister of Health's visit to New Zealand comes as part of the Kingdom's efforts to expand its international partnerships in the health sector, contributing to supporting the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and improving public health outcomes at both regional and international levels.
