انعقاد الاجتماع الأول للأمانة العامة لمجلس التنسيق الأعلى السعودي-المصري

Today, the first meeting of the General Secretariat of the Saudi-Egyptian Higher Coordination Council was held in the capital (Riyadh), chaired by the advisor at the Royal Court and Secretary-General of the Saudi-Egyptian Higher Coordination Council from the Saudi side, Mohammed bin Mazid Al-Tuwaijri, and the Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Secretary-General of the Saudi-Egyptian Higher Coordination Council from the Egyptian side, General Kamel Al-Wazir.

At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Tuwaijri welcomed General Kamel Al-Wazir to his second country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the accompanying delegation, wishing them a pleasant stay.

The two sides discussed the shared visions for the strategic relationship between the two countries and ways to develop it, as well as the joint action plans in preparation for the upcoming session of the Saudi-Egyptian Higher Coordination Council, chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and his brother, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The Secretaries-General of the Saudi-Egyptian Higher Coordination Council affirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral relations in a way that meets the aspirations of the leaderships and peoples of the two brotherly countries, pushing the relations towards broader horizons, as the council is the main platform that frames the work in all fields.

Attending the meeting from the Saudi side were the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Saleh bin Eid Al-Husseini, and the Assistant Secretary-General of the Saudi-Egyptian Higher Coordination Council, Engineer Fahd bin Said Al-Harthi.
