أصدرت الهيئة العامة للإحصاء اليوم تقريرًا خاصًا عن المرأة السعودية عبر موقعها الرسمي www.stats.gov.sa، وتكمن أهميته في عدد وتنوُّع المؤشرات الإحصائية المتعلقة بالمرأة السعودية من عمر 15 سنة فأكثر في مختلف المجالات كالتعليم والصحة والعمل والثقافة والترفيه، وعدد من الإحصاءات الأخرى.
واعتمد التقرير على حزمة من المؤشرات الإحصائية الخاصة بالمرأة السعودية للفئة العمرية (15 سنة فأكثر) استنادًا إلى نتائج مجموعة من المسوح التي تنفذها الهيئة العامة للإحصاء، إضافة إلى البيانات السجلية والتقديرات السكانية إلى هذه المصادر بهدف الوصول إلى إحصاءات متنوعة عن المرأة في مختلف المجالات الاجتماعية الاقتصادية والتعليمية، والصحية، والثقافية، والترفيهية.
وأظهرت نتائج (تقرير المرأة السعودية 2024) الصادر عن الهيئة العامة للإحصاء أن إجمالي عدد الإناث السعوديات بلغ 9,807,663 نسمة، حيث مثلت الفئة العمرية (15 – 34) نسبة 35.7% من إجمالي الإناث السعوديات، فيما بلغت الفئة العمرية(20 – 24) نسبة 17.6%، وهو ما يعكس ارتفاع نسبة الفئات العمرية الشابة من النساء مقارنة بالفئات العمرية الأخرى.
من ناحية أخرى، أوضحت نتائج التقرير الجهود التي بُذلت لتمكين المرأة السعودية في سوق العمل، حيث انخفضت معدلات بطالة المرأة، وكان من نتائج ذلك أن حقق معدل البطالة بين النساء السعوديات انخفاضًا ملحوظًا في عام 2024 ليصل إلى 13% مقارنة بعام 2022، حيث كان 19%، فيما بلغ معدل البطالة الربعي للربع الرابع من عام 2024، 11.9% مقارنة بالربع نفسه من عام 2023 والذي سجل 13.9%، وذلك تزامنًا مع التوسع في المشاركة الاقتصادية للنساء وزيادة معدلات توظيفهن في مختلف المجالات. كما ارتفع معدل المشتغلات من النساء السعوديات إلى السكان ليصل إلى 31.8%، فيما بلغ معدل مشاركة النساء في سوق العمل 36%.
وأظهرت نتائج التقرير تزايد إنجازات المرأة السعودية في مجالات التعليم والابتكار والرياضة، حيث بلغت نسبة الحاصلات على درجة البكالوريوس أو ما يعادلها 35.3% من إجمالي السعوديات في الفئة العمرية (25 سنة فأكثر)، كما حصلت 22 سعودية على براءات اختراع في عام 2024، إضافة إلى حصول السعوديات على 1,956 جائزة محلية ودولية في المجال الرياضي خلال العام.
وعلى صعيد آخر، أوضحت نتائج التقرير أن نسبة السعوديات (18 سنة فأكثر) الممارسات للنشاط البدني لمدة 150 دقيقة أو أكثر أسبوعيًا بلغت 44.6%، كما أظهر التقرير أن الأنشطة الثقافية والترفيهية شهدت مشاركة واسعة، حيث كانت زيارة الحدائق والمتنزهات الأعلى بنسبة 62.7%.
يذكر أن تقرير المرأة السعودية هو أحد منتجات الهيئة العامة للإحصاء التي تعكس أهم المؤشرات الخاصة بالمرأة السعودية، وتبرز ارتقاءها وتمكينها في سوق العمل وتقدمها في المجالات الاجتماعية والتعليمية والصحية والثقافية والترفيهية، حيث يتم قياس هذه المؤشرات ونشرها بشكل سنوي.
يذكر أن الهيئة العامة للإحصاء هي المرجع الإحصائي الرسمي والوحيد للبيانات والمعلومات الإحصائية في المملكة، وتقوم بتنفيذ الأعمال الإحصائية كافة، والإشراف الفني على القطاع الإحصائي، وتصميم وتنفيذ المسوح الميدانية، وإجراء الدراسات والبحوث الإحصائية، وتحليل البيانات والمعلومات، وجميع أعمال توثيق وحفظ المعلومات والبيانات الإحصائية التي تُغطي جميع جوانب الحياة في المملكة مِنْ مصادرها المتعددة، وتدوينها، وتبويبها، وتحليلها، واستخراج مؤشراتها الإحصائية.
The General Authority for Statistics today issued a special report on Saudi women through its official website www.stats.gov.sa. Its importance lies in the number and diversity of statistical indicators related to Saudi women aged 15 and older in various fields such as education, health, work, culture, and entertainment, along with several other statistics.
The report relied on a set of statistical indicators specific to Saudi women in the age group (15 years and older), based on the results of a series of surveys conducted by the General Authority for Statistics, in addition to registry data and population estimates from these sources, aiming to provide diverse statistics about women in various social, economic, educational, health, cultural, and recreational fields.
The results of the (Saudi Women Report 2024) issued by the General Authority for Statistics showed that the total number of Saudi females reached 9,807,663, with the age group (15 – 34) representing 35.7% of the total Saudi females, while the age group (20 – 24) accounted for 17.6%. This reflects an increase in the proportion of younger female age groups compared to other age groups.
On the other hand, the report's results highlighted the efforts made to empower Saudi women in the labor market, as female unemployment rates decreased. Consequently, the unemployment rate among Saudi women saw a significant decline in 2024, reaching 13% compared to 19% in 2022. The quarterly unemployment rate for the fourth quarter of 2024 was 11.9%, compared to 13.9% in the same quarter of 2023, coinciding with the expansion of women's economic participation and increased employment rates in various fields. The rate of working Saudi women reached 31.8%, while the labor force participation rate for women was 36%.
The report's results showed an increase in the achievements of Saudi women in the fields of education, innovation, and sports, with the percentage of those holding a bachelor's degree or its equivalent reaching 35.3% of the total Saudi women in the age group (25 years and older). Additionally, 22 Saudi women obtained patents in 2024, and Saudi women received 1,956 local and international awards in the sports field during the year.
Moreover, the report indicated that the percentage of Saudi women (18 years and older) engaging in physical activity for 150 minutes or more weekly reached 44.6%. The report also showed that cultural and recreational activities witnessed wide participation, with visits to parks and recreational areas being the highest at 62.7%.
It is worth noting that the Saudi Women Report is one of the products of the General Authority for Statistics that reflects the most important indicators related to Saudi women, highlighting their advancement and empowerment in the labor market and their progress in social, educational, health, cultural, and recreational fields, with these indicators being measured and published annually.
It is also noted that the General Authority for Statistics is the official and sole statistical reference for data and statistical information in the Kingdom.
