أغلقت لجنة مشتركة في الطائف، أمس، عدداً من الألعاب الترفيهية داخل بعض المتنزهات، وذلك ضمن حملة التصحيح والرقابة، التي أعقبت حادثة سقوط لعبة «360» الهوائية قبل ثلاثة أسابيع، التي خلّفت نحو 23 مصاباً. ورصدت «عكاظ» ميدانياً، انتشار لافتات الإغلاق على مداخل الألعاب، مع التشديد على ملاك الحدائق بعدم تشغيلها حتى استيفاء متطلبات السلامة.
وكان محافظ الطائف الأمير سعود بن نهار، وجّه بسرعة رفع نتائج التحقيقات في حادثة لعبة «360»، التي وقعت داخل أحد المتنزهات، وأصيب فيها 23 شخصاً، معظم إصاباتهم كسور في السيقان وفقرات الظهر، فيما تعرضت فتاتان لبتر قدميهما جراء الارتطام العنيف أثناء السقوط.
وأكدت والدة مصابات لـ«عكاظ»، أن اثنتين من بناتها خرجتا من المستشفى بعد استكمال علاجهما، ولا تزال أخريان تتلقيان الرعاية الصحية، مبينة أن الحادثة كانت صادمة للأسرة.
من جانبه، أوضح والد الشقيقتين اللتين تعرضتا لبتر قدميهما، أن ما حدث قدرٌ ماضٍ، داعياً المولى عز وجل، أن يلطف بحال ابنتيه اللتين ما زالتا في عمر الزهور، إذ تدرس الكبرى في المرحلة الجامعية، وتواصل الصغرى دراستها بالصف الأول الثانوي.وأعرب عن شكره وتقديره لمحافظ الطائف، على متابعته المستمرة لحالات المصابين، وثمّن سرعة استجابة الأجهزة الأمنية والإسعافية فور وقوع الحادثة.
يُذكر، أن «عكاظ»، نشرت قبل أسبوعين تقريراً بعنوان: «السيقان الأكثر في إصابات لعبة الطائف»، استعرضت خلاله الأبعاد النفسية والقانونية لتعويضات المتضررين.
A joint committee in Taif closed several amusement rides in some parks yesterday as part of a corrective and monitoring campaign that followed the incident of the "360" aerial ride's collapse three weeks ago, which left about 23 injured. "Okaz" observed on the ground the noticeable presence of closure signs at the entrances of the rides, emphasizing to park owners not to operate them until safety requirements are met.
The Governor of Taif, Prince Saud bin Nahar, directed that the results of the investigations into the "360" ride incident, which occurred in one of the parks and resulted in injuries to 23 people, be expedited. Most of the injuries were fractures in the legs and vertebrae, while two girls suffered amputations of their feet due to the violent impact during the fall.
The mother of the injured told "Okaz" that two of her daughters had been discharged from the hospital after completing their treatment, while two others are still receiving medical care, indicating that the incident was shocking for the family.
For his part, the father of the sisters who suffered foot amputations explained that what happened was a past fate, calling on God Almighty to ease the situation for his daughters, who are still in their youth, as the elder is studying at the university level, and the younger continues her studies in the first year of high school. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Governor of Taif for his continuous follow-up on the cases of the injured and praised the swift response of the security and emergency services immediately after the incident occurred.
It is worth mentioning that "Okaz" published a report two weeks ago titled: "The Most Common Injuries in the Taif Ride," which reviewed the psychological and legal aspects of compensation for the affected individuals.
