حققت أمانة المنطقة الشرقية، إنجازاً نوعياً غير مسبوق بحصولها على 100% في مؤشرات الأداء بوزارة البلديات والإسكان الخاصة بمستهدفات طرح الأصول الاستثمارية المميزة والجاذبة، بالتوازي مع نجاحها في استقطاب استثمارات محلية ودولية تجاوزت قيمتها 30 مليار ريال.
وأشارت الأمانة على لسان المتحدث باسمها فيصل الزهراني إلى استثمار أكثر من 95% من أصولها الاستثمارية المتاحة، وتدير حالياً ما يزيد على 6 آلاف عقد استثماري، فيما تجاوزت الإيرادات السنوية ملياري ريال، لافتا إلى أن المشاريع الاستثمارية الجاري تنفيذها تتوزع على عدة قطاعات رئيسية تشمل الاستثمارات الأجنبية التي تجاوزت 1.7 مليار ريال، والمشاريع السياحية والترفيهية بأكثر من 14 مليار ريال، إضافة إلى مشاريع المصانع والبيئة، وإعادة التدوير والاستدامة بقيمة تفوق 8 مليارات ريال، فضلاً عن مشاريع الواجهات البحرية، والمراكز الحضارية، بنحو 4 مليارات ريال، إلى جانب المشاريع الصحية، والتعليمية، والرياضية، والسكنية، واللوجستية التي تخطت قيمتها 5 مليارات ريال.
وأضاف الزهراني، إن هذه المشاريع النوعية، المنتشرة في مختلف مدن ومحافظات الشرقية، تُنفذ بالشراكة مع الجهات ذات العلاقة دعماً للاستدامة المالية، ورفعاً لكفاءة الإنفاق، كما تسهم في خلق آلاف الفرص الوظيفية لأبناء المنطقة، وتعزيز الاقتصاد المحلي، وتحقيق جودة حياة أعلى للسكان، داعياً المستثمرين ورواد الأعمال للاستفادة من المزايا الاستثمارية التي تقدمها الأمانة، والتي تتضمن عقوداً تصل إلى 50 عاماً، وإعفاءات بنسبة 10% من مدة العقود، وخفض الضمانات البنكية إلى 25% من قيمة العطاء، إلى جانب نماذج استثمارية مبتكرة تقوم على الشراكة في نسب الدخل، مؤكداً أن تفاصيل هذه الفرص متاحة عبر مركز التميز الاستثماري بالأمانة، والبوابة الرقمية للاستثمار في المدن السعودية، والتطبيق الذكي (فرص).
The Eastern Province Municipality has achieved an unprecedented qualitative accomplishment by obtaining 100% in the performance indicators of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing related to the targets for offering distinctive and attractive investment assets, alongside its success in attracting local and international investments exceeding 30 billion riyals.
The municipality's spokesperson, Faisal Al-Zahrani, indicated that more than 95% of its available investment assets have been invested, currently managing over 6,000 investment contracts, while annual revenues have surpassed 2 billion riyals. He pointed out that the ongoing investment projects are distributed across several key sectors, including foreign investments exceeding 1.7 billion riyals, tourism and entertainment projects worth more than 14 billion riyals, in addition to factory, environmental, recycling, and sustainability projects valued at over 8 billion riyals, as well as waterfront projects and urban centers amounting to about 4 billion riyals, along with health, educational, sports, residential, and logistical projects that have exceeded 5 billion riyals.
Al-Zahrani added that these qualitative projects, spread across various cities and governorates of the Eastern Province, are being implemented in partnership with relevant entities to support financial sustainability and enhance spending efficiency. They also contribute to creating thousands of job opportunities for the region's youth, boosting the local economy, and achieving a higher quality of life for residents. He called on investors and entrepreneurs to take advantage of the investment benefits offered by the municipality, which include contracts of up to 50 years, exemptions of 10% from the contract duration, and a reduction of bank guarantees to 25% of the bid value, in addition to innovative investment models based on income-sharing partnerships. He emphasized that details of these opportunities are available through the Investment Excellence Center at the municipality, the digital investment portal for Saudi cities, and the smart application (Opportunities).
