زار نائب أمير منطقة جازان الأمير ناصر بن محمد بن عبدالله بن جلوي، اليوم، مركز الزوار وبيت الحرفيين بمقر هيئة التراث، الذي يأتي ضمن جهود الهيئة في المحافظة على الثروة الثقافية وتطوير الحرف اليدوية التراثية.
واطلع نائب أمير المنطقة على عرض من مدير عام فروع هيئة التراث بالمملكة رستم بن مقبول الكبيسي، عن مركز الزوار، الذي يسعى للتعريف بعناصر التراث الثقافي بالمنطقة، من خلال تصميم معماري، يقدم للزوار تجربة مميزة ومعلومات تاريخية عن جازان وتاريخها ومكوناتها وحضارتها عبر العصور، وذلك من خلال أقسام تشمل مجموعة من العناصر، من مواقع الفنون الصخرية والاكتشافات والموجودات الأثرية، وكذلك طرق التجارة والحج التي كانت تمر بالمنطقة.
واستمع لشرح مفصل عن مختلف البرامج وورش العمل التدريبية التي يقدمها بيت الحرفيين؛ الهادفة لتطوير قدرات الحرفيين والحرفيات السعوديين، عن طريق تدريبهم بكيفية إبراز جمال الحِرف اليدوية السعودية مع المحافظة على أصالة الحِرف نفسها، والذي التحق به 30 حرفيا وحرفية، ويستمر لمدة عام، ويشمل حرف صناعة القعايد، وحياكة الطواقي، ومشغولات الصدف البحري.
ويسعى البرنامج لإعادة الحِرف التقليدية إلى الواجهة، والمحافظة على أهميتها، بمشاركة مدربين متخصصين، في تدريب الشباب والفتيات للمحافظة على المهن ومساعدتهم لابتكار تصاميم احترافية تواكب متطلبات السوق، وتكون جديرة بالاقتناء، إلى جانب الورش المساندة في ريادة الأعمال والابتكار وحلول التغليف والتسويق، وتوفير ورش إنتاج ومنصة لعرض وبيع المنتجات الحرفية التي ينتجها الحرفيون والحرفيات.
وأثنى نائب أمير جازان على جهود هيئة التراث في تمكين شباب وشابات المنطقة، وتطوير مهاراتهم في مجال الحِرف اليدوية التقليدية عبر بيت الحرفيين، وذلك ضمن فعاليات عام الحرف اليدوية 2025، خصوصا أن المنطقة تزخر بالعديد من الحِرف اليدوية التقليدية التي تمثل إِرثا ثقافيا عريقا.
The Deputy Emir of the Jazan Region, Prince Nasir bin Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Jiluwi, today visited the Visitors Center and the House of Artisans at the headquarters of the Heritage Authority, which is part of the Authority's efforts to preserve cultural heritage and develop traditional handicrafts.
The Deputy Emir was briefed by the Director General of the Heritage Authority branches in the Kingdom, Rustam bin Maqbool Al-Kubaisi, about the Visitors Center, which aims to introduce the elements of cultural heritage in the region through architectural design, providing visitors with a unique experience and historical information about Jazan, its history, components, and civilization throughout the ages. This is achieved through sections that include a range of elements, from rock art sites and archaeological discoveries to trade and pilgrimage routes that passed through the region.
He listened to a detailed explanation about the various programs and training workshops offered by the House of Artisans, aimed at developing the skills of Saudi artisans, by training them on how to highlight the beauty of Saudi handicrafts while preserving the authenticity of the crafts themselves. This program has enrolled 30 artisans and craftswomen, lasts for a year, and includes crafts such as the production of traditional headgear, the weaving of caps, and marine shell crafts.
The program seeks to bring traditional crafts back to the forefront and maintain their importance, with the participation of specialized trainers, in training young men and women to preserve the professions and assist them in creating professional designs that meet market demands and are worthy of acquisition. Additionally, it includes supporting workshops in entrepreneurship, innovation, packaging solutions, and marketing, as well as providing production workshops and a platform to showcase and sell the handicraft products produced by artisans.
The Deputy Emir of Jazan praised the efforts of the Heritage Authority in empowering the youth of the region and developing their skills in traditional handicrafts through the House of Artisans, as part of the activities for the Year of Handicrafts 2025, especially since the region is rich in many traditional handicrafts that represent a rich cultural heritage.
