استقبل نائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن بندر بن عبدالعزيز، في مكتبه بديوان الإمارة اليوم (الخميس)، مدير عام الفروع ومراكز خدمات الأعمال بالهيئة العامة للنقل المهندس ماجد بن محمد الضويان، يرافقه عبدالله بن سامي اليحيى، بمناسبة تكليفه مديراً لفرع الهيئة بالمنطقة الشرقية.
وأكد نائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية أهمية الدور الذي تضطلع به الهيئة العامة للنقل في تنظيم قطاع النقل وتطوير خدماته، وتعزيز كفاءته وموثوقيته بما يواكب احتياجات التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية، مثمناً حرص القيادة الرشيدة على دعم مشاريع البنية التحتية للنقل وتطوير خدماته في مختلف مناطق المملكة، مشيراً إلى أن المنطقة الشرقية تتميز بموقع إستراتيجي يجعلها محوراً رئيسياً لقطاع النقل والخدمات اللوجستية، وتمنى لليحيى التوفيق في أداء مهماته مديرًا لفرع الهيئة بالمنطقة.
وقدّم المهندس الضويان لنائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية عرضاً عن أبرز مشاريع الهيئة في المنطقة، وأوجه التعاون مع القطاعين العام والخاص لتعزيز البنية التحتية وتوسيع نطاق الخدمات، بما يسهم في دعم الاقتصاد المحلي وتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة.
كما رفع اليحيى الشكر والتقدير لنائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية على اهتمامه ومتابعته، مؤكداً حرصه على دعم وتطوير خطط الهيئة وإستراتيجياتها، بما يعزز كفاءة التشغيل ويرفع مستوى رضا المستفيدين، ويسهم في تحقيق مستهدفات التحول الوطني.
The Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, received today (Thursday) in his office at the Emirate's Diwan the Director General of Branches and Business Services Centers at the Public Transport Authority, Engineer Majid bin Mohammed Al-Dhuwayan, accompanied by Abdullah bin Sami Al-Yahya, on the occasion of his appointment as the Director of the Authority's branch in the Eastern Province.
The Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province emphasized the important role played by the Public Transport Authority in organizing the transport sector and developing its services, enhancing its efficiency and reliability in line with the needs of economic and social development. He appreciated the wise leadership's commitment to supporting transport infrastructure projects and developing services across various regions of the Kingdom, noting that the Eastern Province has a strategic location that makes it a key hub for the transport and logistics sector. He wished Al-Yahya success in his duties as the Director of the Authority's branch in the region.
Engineer Al-Dhuwayan presented to the Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province an overview of the Authority's key projects in the region and the areas of cooperation with the public and private sectors to enhance infrastructure and expand the range of services, contributing to supporting the local economy and achieving sustainable development goals.
Al-Yahya also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province for his interest and follow-up, affirming his commitment to supporting and developing the Authority's plans and strategies, which enhance operational efficiency and raise the level of beneficiary satisfaction, contributing to achieving the objectives of the national transformation.
