أعلن رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العامة للترفيه المستشار تركي آل الشيخ أن عدد الطلبات لتجربة «على خطاه» تجاوز مليون طلب، مشيراً إلى أن انطلاق التجربة سيكون في شهر نوفمبر القادم.
ونوه آل الشيخ بالدعم غير المحدود من ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز للمشروع، مؤكداً أن الجهود ستتواصل لتحقيق تطلعات ولي العهد في مشروع طريق الهجرة «على خطاه».
وعبر المستشار تركي آل الشيخ عن شكره لأمير منطقة المدينة المنورة الأمير سلمان بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز على متابعته ودعمه المستمر، ولنائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة الأمير سعود بن مشعل بن عبدالعزيز على اهتمامه وحرصه على نجاح هذه التجربة المميزة.
وأوضح أن التجربة تحظى بإقبال كبير على المستوى الدولي، لافتاً إلى الزخم الذي تشهده في جمهورية إندونيسيا، مبيناً أن الخطط ستشمل قريباً كلاً من ماليزيا وتركيا والهند، في إطار إستراتيجية التوسع الخارجي للمشروع الذي يجسّد مسار الهجرة النبوية بطريقة تفاعلية وإنسانية.
وأشار إلى أن خطة هذا العام تتضمن استقبال 300 ألف زائر، ضمن تنظيم محكم يضمن جودة التجربة وسلامة الزوار، على أن يرتفع العدد المستهدف إلى 5 ملايين زائر سنوياً بحلول عام 2030.
وبيَّن آل الشيخ أن التجربة ستوفر وسائل نقل متطورة تسهم في تيسير الحركة على طول مسار الهجرة، من بينها باصات رباعية الدفع مخصصة لعبور التضاريس المختلفة، وسيتم تمكين الزوار من الوصول إلى غار ثور خلال 3 دقائق فقط، مقارنة بالوقت السابق الذي كان يتجاوز ساعتين سيراً على الأقدام، بما يضمن راحة الزوار ويثري التجربة.

يعد مشروع «على خطاه» أحد أبرز المبادرات التفاعلية التي أطلقتها الهيئة العامة للترفيه، إذ يسعى لإحياء مسار الهجرة النبوية من مكة المكرمة إلى المدينة المنورة، عبر تجربة متكاملة تمزج بين التقنيات الحديثة والإثراء المعرفي، بما يعزز الارتباط بالقيم التاريخية والروحية للسيرة النبوية الشريفة.
وتهدف التجربة إلى إتاحة الفرصة للزوار من داخل المملكة وخارجها للتفاعل مع محطات الهجرة النبوية، واستشعار معانيها التاريخية والإنسانية، في إطار تجربة غير مسبوقة تجمع بين العمق الثقافي والتقنية المتقدمة.

The Chairman of the Board of the General Entertainment Authority, Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, announced that the number of requests for the "In His Footsteps" experience has exceeded one million requests, indicating that the launch of the experience will be in the upcoming month of November.
Al-Sheikh praised the unlimited support from Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz for the project, affirming that efforts will continue to achieve the Crown Prince's aspirations for the "In His Footsteps" migration path project.
Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh expressed his gratitude to the Prince of the Medina Region, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, for his continuous follow-up and support, and to the Deputy Prince of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, for his interest and commitment to the success of this unique experience.
He explained that the experience is receiving significant international interest, pointing to the momentum it is witnessing in the Republic of Indonesia, noting that plans will soon include Malaysia, Turkey, and India, as part of the project's external expansion strategy that embodies the path of the prophetic migration in an interactive and human way.
He indicated that this year's plan includes welcoming 300,000 visitors, within a well-organized framework that ensures the quality of the experience and the safety of visitors, with the targeted number set to rise to 5 million visitors annually by 2030.
Al-Sheikh stated that the experience will provide advanced transportation means that facilitate movement along the migration path, including four-wheel-drive buses designated for crossing various terrains, and visitors will be able to reach the Cave of Thawr in just 3 minutes, compared to the previous time that exceeded two hours on foot, ensuring visitor comfort and enriching the experience.
