The National Water Company announced that the grace period launched by the Saudi Water Authority in collaboration with the National Water Company to correct the status of water and sewage connections, whether irregular or unregistered, will end on the eighteenth of August. This grace period includes correcting the status of irregular or unregistered water and sewage connections, and it includes exemptions from the resulting violations and previous bills, as well as the financial fee if the subscriber corrects the connection status.

The water company clarified that irregular connections are water or sewage connections that were not requested in the regular manner through service centers or the digital channels of the National Water Company, and were implemented in an irregular way by technicians who have knowledge and experience with the company's specifications, or were implemented randomly and do not comply with the technical specifications of the company. It pointed out that an unregistered connection is a water or sewage connection executed on the property and technically compliant but not registered in the company's systems, and no bill has been issued to the customer for either the water or sewage connection or both. It noted that there are no violations or fines during the grace period, and monitoring of violations will resume after it ends.
