برعاية وزير الثقافة الأمير بدر بن عبدالله بن فرحان، نظّمت وزارة الثقافة الحفل الختامي لتحدي الابتكار الثقافي (بوليسيثون) في فندق الفيرمونت بمدينة الرياض، لتكريم الفائزين والمشاركين في هذا التحدي الذي يهدف إلى تصميم سياسات ثقافية تدعم نمو القطاع الثقافي، وتسهم في تحقيق تنمية ثقافية شاملة ومستدامة، بحضور عدد من أصحاب المعالي وقيادات عدد من الجهات الحكومة والمهتمين بالسياسات الثقافية.
وأكد وكيل وزارة الثقافة للإستراتيجيات والسياسات الثقافية، البراء العوهلي، أن هذا التحدي يجسّد ثقة الوزارة في قدرات الشباب وإمكاناتهم، وإيمانها بدور المجتمع المحوري في تطوير السياسات الثقافية وصناعة الأثر، مشيرًا إلى أن ما قُدم من أفكار خلال المعسكر يعكس وعيًا عميقًا وشغفًا حقيقيًا بالإسهام في الحراك الثقافي الوطني، وخلق مستقبل أكثر ابتكارًا وشمولًا.
من جانبها، أشارت الأستاذة بجامعة كاليفورنيا الدكتورة ليرا بوروديتسكي في كلمتها خلال الحفل إلى دور اللغة المحوري في تشكيل طريقة تفكيرنا ورؤيتنا للعالم، مشيرةً إلى أن اختلاف اللغات يعكس تنوعًا في طريقة الفهم والإدراك. وأضافت أن اللغة ليست مجرد وسيلة للتواصل، بل أداة للابتكار وصناعة المفاهيم، داعية إلى استثمار هذا التنوع في بناء مستقبل ثقافي أكثر وعيًا وإبداعًا.
وكان الحفل الختامي قد بدأ بالسلام الملكي، ثم تَلَتْهُ فقرة موسيقية، قبل أن تعرض الوزارة عرضًا مرئيًا يحكي قصة رحلة المشاركين في التحدي منذ البداية، وعرضًا آخر أجرت فيه مقابلةً مع المشاركين والميسّرين، حيث يتحدثون خلاله عن مشاركتهم في هذا الحدث التفاعلي، وماذا استفادوا منه، وبعد ذلك قدّم المشارِكون المؤهَّلون عروضَهم مع فيديوهات تعريفية بالفرق، قبل أن يُختتم الحفل بإعلان أسماء الفائزين وتكريمهم بجوائز مالية تتجاوز قيمتها الـ500 ألف ريال، حيث فاز بالمركز الأول فريق (صِوى) في مسار السياحة الثقافية، وجاء في المركز الثاني فريق (من الفايزين) في مسار المواسم والأعياد، وحلّ ثالثًا فريق (الخزامى) في مسار السياحة الثقافية.
يُذكر أن وزارة الثقافة كانت قد أطلقت تحدي الابتكار الثقافي «بوليسيثون» في شهر مايو الماضي بصفته حدثًا تفاعليًا يُعزّز روح الابتكار والمنافسة في تصميم السياسات الثقافية الرامية إلى نمو وازدهار القطاع الثقافي، ويستهدف إشراك الكفاءات الوطنية بحضور نُخبة من الخبراء العالميين والمسؤولين الحكوميين، لمناقشة أحدث الطرق المبتكرة والتجارب الرائدة في تصميم السياسات، وإتاحة فرص التعاون مـع أبرز الخبراء والمختصين.
وتهدف وزارة الثقافة من خلال هذا التحدي إلى تصميم سياسات ثقافية مبتكرة ومرنة قادرة على مواكبة التغيرات المتسارعة على المستوى المحلي والعالمي، ونشر ثقافة تصميم السياسات الثقافية، وتنمية الوعي حول أهميتها ودورها في تحقيق تنمية ثقافية واجتماعية واقتصادية مستدامة، بالإضافة إلى ترسيخ مبدأ التصميم التشاركي عبر إشراك المجتمع في ابتكار سياسات ثقافية مبتكرة تتمحور حول المستفيد وتلبّي احتياجاته.
Under the patronage of the Minister of Culture, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the Ministry of Culture organized the closing ceremony for the Cultural Innovation Challenge (Polisathon) at the Fairmont Hotel in Riyadh, to honor the winners and participants in this challenge aimed at designing cultural policies that support the growth of the cultural sector and contribute to achieving comprehensive and sustainable cultural development, in the presence of several dignitaries and leaders from various government entities and those interested in cultural policies.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture for Strategies and Cultural Policies, Al-Baraa Al-Owaili, affirmed that this challenge embodies the ministry's confidence in the capabilities and potentials of youth, and its belief in the community's central role in developing cultural policies and creating impact. He pointed out that the ideas presented during the camp reflect a deep awareness and genuine passion for contributing to the national cultural movement and creating a more innovative and inclusive future.
For her part, Dr. Lyra Boroditsky, a professor at the University of California, highlighted in her speech during the ceremony the pivotal role of language in shaping our way of thinking and our vision of the world, noting that the diversity of languages reflects a variety of ways of understanding and perception. She added that language is not just a means of communication but a tool for innovation and concept creation, calling for the investment of this diversity in building a more conscious and creative cultural future.
The closing ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by a musical segment, before the ministry presented a visual display narrating the journey of the participants in the challenge from the beginning, and another presentation featuring interviews with participants and facilitators, where they discussed their participation in this interactive event and what they gained from it. After that, the qualified participants presented their pitches along with introductory videos about their teams, before the ceremony concluded with the announcement of the winners' names and their honoring with cash prizes exceeding 500,000 riyals. The first place was won by Team (Sawa) in the cultural tourism track, the second place went to Team (From the Winners) in the seasons and festivals track, and Team (Al-Khuzama) secured third place in the cultural tourism track.
It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Culture launched the Cultural Innovation Challenge "Polisathon" last May as an interactive event that enhances the spirit of innovation and competition in designing cultural policies aimed at the growth and prosperity of the cultural sector. It targets the engagement of national talents in the presence of a select group of global experts and government officials to discuss the latest innovative methods and pioneering experiences in policy design, and to provide opportunities for collaboration with leading experts and specialists.
Through this challenge, the Ministry of Culture aims to design innovative and flexible cultural policies capable of keeping pace with rapid changes at both local and global levels, to promote a culture of cultural policy design, and to raise awareness about its importance and role in achieving sustainable cultural, social, and economic development, in addition to establishing the principle of participatory design by involving the community in innovating cultural policies that center around the beneficiary and meet their needs.
