The Minister of Media, Salman bin Yusuf Al-Dosari, visited the headquarters of the "Al Arabiya" network in the capital, Riyadh, today, following the completion of the transfer of its channels and digital platforms, along with the full operational, editorial, and administrative processes.

During the visit, the Minister of Media met with the editorial and technical leadership of the network, and reviewed the workflow within the new headquarters, examining the organizational structure and media operation plans, while following up on production and content mechanisms across various departments.

He was welcomed by the General Manager of "Al Arabiya" and "Al Hadath" channels, Mamdouh Al-Muhaini, the Deputy General Manager Zaid bin Kumi, and several network officials, who accompanied the minister on a tour of the "Al Hadath" studio, the "Al Arabiya" studio, and the News Resources Department room, where he was briefed on the latest technologies used in production and live broadcasting, across three studios equipped with the latest technologies such as robotic cameras and virtual and augmented reality technologies, and three control rooms, in addition to mechanisms for transmitting and covering local and international events, which rely on advanced systems that ensure speed of access and content quality, managed by 230 employees.

Al-Dosari listened to a presentation about the network's future plans and the ongoing construction at the headquarters, which includes the establishment of five new studios that will be equipped with modern technologies used for the first time, contributing to the development of the format and style of programming and news presentation, and enhancing the quality of content provided to the audience.

It also includes the establishment of five advanced control rooms and two news halls, in line with the requirements of modern media production, and enhancing the operational capacity of the channel to cover events efficiently and professionally.

The Minister of Media affirmed that the "Al Arabiya" network, since its launch over 22 years ago, has succeeded in raising Arab awareness with its clear direction, proving its success and distinction through adopting a rational and professional discourse that is far from populism, mobilization, and sensationalism.

Al-Dosari pointed out that the transfer of the "Al Arabiya" network to Riyadh is not just a change of geographical location, but a qualitative transformation that places it at the heart of the political and economic scenes in the region and the world, alongside enabling it to benefit from the advanced media infrastructure in the Kingdom.

Minister Salman Al-Dosari expressed his gratitude to the staff of the "Al Arabiya" network who worked tirelessly to make this step successful, and for their outstanding efforts that have placed the network at the forefront of the media scene and earned it credibility and reliability, especially in light of the significant and successive events that the region has witnessed on all fronts.

For his part, Mamdouh Al-Muhaini, the General Manager of "Al Arabiya" and "Al Hadath" channels, confirmed that the completion of the official transfer of the network's headquarters to the capital, Riyadh, represents a strategic step and a qualitative transformation in the course of media work, reflecting the Kingdom's aspirations to enhance its regional and international presence.

Al-Muhaini explained that this transfer gives "Al Arabiya" the advantage of direct interaction with decision-making centers, in addition to benefiting from advanced infrastructure, accessing qualified human resources, and the wide opportunities for growth and innovation.
